Wow Jon B. Out of all of the RU-vidrs I've watched over the years for various things, I've never learned as much as I do watching your videos. I caught my first bass last summer, (on a frog) after watching you fish, and I was hooked. Now I go almost every day of the year and nothing still gives more of a rush than reeling in a bass, no matter the size. Thank you so much for helping me realize my true passion, and I'll always keep fishing and never stop!

AAAAAYYEEE it was the same way for me because, I used to only fish when I was at my grandparents in Virginia and there I only fished salt water. and that was only once a week between several years and now because of Jon I have gotten into freshwater and bass fishing and it is such a fun sport thanks for that jon. if I didn't start I would be so board without it.

I work at Disney and used to fished those ponds all the time.... that changed when a kid at Grand Floridian was attacked by an alligator. Since then the company has disallowed it except for using their guide services because some people that aren't from Florida don't expect to see alligators or know they're even there.

Next time, try one of the Disney fishing excursions. Leave from the Yacht Club and fish in Epcot and down near Disney Studios. I have great pictures of me holding giant bass with Spaceship Earth or Tower of Terror in the background.

Cool vid...reminds me of years ago when I was working as a sheriff's deputy in south Texas. There was a small recreational lake that was part of a gated community subdivision in our district. Nobody fished the lake and we had access to the subdivision 24/7. Sometimes late at night when it was slow a couple of us would go down and fish the lake for a little bit. We kept ultralight, two-piece spinning sets in the trunks of the patrol cars and a small box of jig-heads and grubs. Gotta be low-key. We'd catch smallmouths. Catch and release. Good times...

King's Island used to have treated ponds everywhere full of huge largemouth and bluegills. They filled them in since drunks were swimming in them. I got lucky and fished there while I worked years before anyone knew how to get to them. I saw a few nice northern pikes raise up and chase by lure. The Little Miami River is right behind it. It was mostly a five-ten minute session at sundown in the best ponds before someone would see you.

the South side of the Orlando international airport there are these ponds right off the highway that are stocked with 8,9,10,11,12 pound bass that they. not many people know about it. I've been there at all hours of the day and night and you definitely have to be stealthy around there.

This might be a little late but Disney had a Bassmaster fishing excursion at the lake between the Boardwalk hotel and the Yacht Club hotel. I'm not sure if they still have it but it was pretty good when I went. It was a guided fishing trip on a pontoon boat and we were fishing in the lake right in the middle of Epcot.

I went on a guided trip at Disney and hammered them. there are fish in almost every puddle of water in Florida it seems like. the funny part is that most people there don't even fish them because of the salt weter. they basically laugh at bass fishing, especially if they are near the coast

Jon B. do you ever thought about have one of yours fishing adventure in Brasil? As you may know we have a ton of really cool fresh water fish. Such as peacock bass , the Dourado ( one of the best fishes ever for sport fishing), Tambaqui, ( a fish that looks like a pirana but is way stronger and weighs up to 30kg ish ) and the catfish such as Pirarara, Jaú, Piraíba and Surubim. I`m sure you will have a good time.

I live in Orlando, don't have any fire spots but I think you should fish the Fab Five chain of lakes, people says its as good as bass fishing gets in Central Florida. Who else agrees? You also said that these fish fight hard. I know that, I've had 1 pounders fight like 3 pounders

Disney Fish are Angry and large, the sun fish I've caught there were like 9-14 inches which made me question wth they were feeding them. The Wilderness Lodge is a Amazing place to fish, they let you take the kids there even if you're not staying at the resort you can even go on the boats for a few hundred for the day in their stocked lakes with a few people. It was an awesome expeience, The fish broke off, They broke poles LOL they were really strong 10-14lbs which is nuts for large mouths. My guess is they stock the lakes.

If you went to fort wilderness, the restort hotel area they allow fishing there. and it's got monster bass that are 4lbs + one of them snapped my rod when i was on a fishing boat thing with my hotel package. So I can assure you it's amazing, they are sports sized fish they have monsters in their. Even the sun fish are around 9-13 inches no exaggeration biggest sun fish i've seen in my life. The irony is that the bass chill out under the piers, and around the resturant that will cook anything you catch for 10 dollars :) so please do visit and film! you can even maybe ask disney, and show them the view count they'll hop on board for it!

Hey Jon and the Googan Squad, please excuse my cringy logo/channel, but you should come on up to Massachusetts and fish for a little bit. If you do, I would recommend Western Massachusetts fishing. The Connecticut River is a great river for Smallmouth fishing, and there are giant 50 inch stripers in here as well. Right now is also the perfect time for Shad fishing, and when I'm with my buds our poles always have a fish on. I was looking around and it looked like you've never made a video here and it would be cool if you made a video around here. Thanks for pumping out these sick vids Jon. You got lucky that the rain missed you... I'm pretty sure I drove by you when I went through Disney. I have always wanted to fish in those ponds. But don't want to risk getting caught.
