Honestly so funny that he is willing to accept a Pokémon can have two different animals as it’s origin, and that he uses names to prove it in the case of Squirrel + Turtle = Squirtle, but not in the case of Mammoth + Swine = Mamoswine. Mamoswine being a pig does not preclude it from also being a mammoth!

Squirtle: has a tail that could vaguely resemble a squirrel's and zero squirrel features in the names and appearances of either of its evolutions John: "It's obviously a squirrel, 'squirt' in the name of a water type makes no sense." Mamoswine: has a pig nose, the overall shape of a wild boar, and is the evolution of two other pokémon that also have 'swine' in their names John: "IT'S NOT A PIG HOW DARE YOU!"

1: Mouse + Lightningbolt could be any of the Pikaclones. 2: Gengar in PMD has an idle animation of it sticking out its tongue. Also, its line learns Lick.

That Garchomp one was genius, the Champion’s signature pokemon from Diamond, Cynthia’s Garchomp! I thought it meant the Legendary from Diamond so I said Dialga, but seeing Garchomp appear made much more sense

My logic went way off into Pokemon rap cyphers here, and my first thought was Diancie for the singular line in the Champion cypher "Diantha looking like a legend like a Diancie". Right idea with champions, just wrong source material to focus on. XD

My logic for the diamond was that Gabite hoards jewels and since Garchomp is the evolution of Gabite it would have a bunch of diamonds in it's den even after it evolves.

Turtonator is SO clever. Shell trap is it's signature move which is literally an explosion...yet i've never connected it to it's shell design which is LITERALLY an explosion emoji!

I'm sure commenters pointed it out already, and it's also shown in the video but: Mamoswine is both a Mammoth and a Pig. the Mamo part of its name is for Mammoth and the Swine part of its name is for Pig. Also, the Gengar one makes sense, Gengar is known for smiling and is also popular for sticking out its tongue and such to be scary.

Fun fact about the last one, the Pokémon’s pre evolution hoarded gemstones in Super Mystery Dungeon which is how I got it instantly. So Theres a secondary way to figure it out.

Within the first TWO minutes of this video, I find a shiny Zubat during a mass outbreak in Legends Arkoos!
