First time I’ve missed 2 questions in one of these, the flaafy one was disheartening probably shouldn’t have missed it considering I have that entire line, and the sprite question was super cool had no idea that cyndaquil changed colors like that. I think the old shiny looks wayyy better than the newer one now that I know it exists. Amazing video as always man keep it up

#11 rolled around and I just cackled; After all, it’s impossible to forget one’s first-ever Pokémon when it sparkled so beautifully. …and also that sprite had one too many colors for the palette limitation of the Generation. I only just discovered this series, and it’s great fun already. As someone who has Shiny Hunted in Gen II since my childhood, it definitely made me flex my brain since I had to think about Shinies that had changed since then. Speaking of, I have a Shiny Lanturn on my team in my Silver cartridge!

I really like seeing the sprites in these. I think a lot of the time the 3d renders feel off, especially for older pokemon. Especially for these generation specific quiz's, it might be cool to see more of the generations sprites instead!

For the record the reason remoraid evolves into octillery is because its based on a gun and octillery is based on a canon. Its more obvious in their beta designs but they had to tone down the military themes for the final release

Another great video. Love these quizzes and those harder ones really are tough. The only two I missed were the Flaffy (was suspicious of Togepi's red and blue patterns and Ampharos' head and tail; did not think it was blue as the shiny) and bonus. I was starting to think 6, but changed to 10 midway through... so 10 points total. Keep up the great work

I knew the question with the gen2 sprites right away because of the game boy limitations. Each gen2 sprite has black, white, and 2 other colors. The fake cyndaquil you made had 2 extra colors so I could tell it wasn’t from the game. I really enjoyed that you did one with the sprites though really cool to see.

in the gen 2 sprite question, what gave it away is that Cyndaquill had 5 different color pixels. However, all Gen 2 Pokemon sprites were only allowed to have 4 colors.

Fun Fact: The fake shiny sprite was easy to spot because gen 2 sprites only use two colors + black and white, and there were three colors (two in the flames and the different body, plus a few stray pixels of blended colors) in the cyndaquil! This is the first and probably only time I'm gonna get 100% on this quiz series hehe

I'm so happy, I got a perfect score! This quiz was so hard though. The one that I almost got wrong was Bellossom, changed my answer multiple times before I locked it in. The Gen 2 sprites also threw me for a whirl, but I remembered a pinkish purple Cyndaquil sprite in the back of my mind and went with my gut. This was so satisfying, I actually cheered and screamed

The reason Remoraid evolves into Octillery is pretty interesting, and sorta got lost from earlier designs--- Remoraid is based on guns, and Octillery, a tank! Makes the remora + raid and octopus + artillery puns make more sense, too. You can still see the barrel lines on Remoraid, and the tentacle "treads" on Octillery, but it was definitely more obvious in beta designs.

Perfect score! I got everything right. Pixel sprites sometimes get me because I'm used to the 3D model shinies, but I surprisingly got #11 right because I had heard about purple flames Cyndaquil before.

Fun Fact: The artist and creator of the Legendary Beasts described them in an interview on what the inspiration was. He said Entei is lion-like, Suicune is leopard-like, and Raikou is tiger-like.
