Lion's Mane mushroom is delicious, if a bit finicky to cook. In my experience, the taste is like a cross between beef and shellfish, which is good but requires more planning around than your standard oyster or button mushrooms. They actually sell small growing kits on Amazon, and having used one myself they work pretty well.

The second I saw you start handling it, I recognized it as mushroom. My brother grows them, but holy cow did I not expect it to be a mushroom when you first showed it.

The real question is... why do you know what pee tastes like, Guga!?!?! 😂
@cocodojo

C'mon... Guga's had to make do with some pretty "out there" mystery meats that his meat dealer's sent him over the years, one of which Leo just mentioned is usually how pee exits the body so...

Cutting the pasta is wild but I can totally see it allowing for all the cheese and truffle to stay on the pasta when you eat it.

Deceptively called it mystery meat! I thought it looked like a mushroom and didn't recognise it as a meat. I usually get these little challenges! Not this time! Love mushrooms though... Looking forward to seeing it play out!

Hey Guga, I have an idea for you to explore. What if, instead of cooking one's favorite chili recipe (using cubed chuck roast, of course) on the stove or crock pot, you put all the ingredients in a sous vide bag? How would that turn out and what if any tweaking of the recipe would be needed? Thanx man.

Lions mane is sooo good! I grow it! easiest way to prepare it is to pull it apart (its stringy pretty easy to do) and cook it in butter in a pan! Tastes a lot like crab and is used as imitation crab by vegans/vegitarians!
