On the teleporting corpses - mods like "The Strip NPCs Uncut" (mod/71503) on Nexusmods have this documented well. To save on performance, Vegas just reuses the same NPCs on multiple locations, moving them around based on where the player is.

Fallout 3 did this. I noticed cause a corpse of a character that narratively shouldn’t of been dead yet (but I killed anyways cause Todd cannot contain me) just teleported at a door and characters talked to as if they were alive. It was hilarious.

I never even noticed it, so I guess I'm part of the devs' ideal target audience. Just like none of the major bugs that people seemed to HATE this game for for the past 10 years have never happened to me somehow

@@BierBart12 no no, when playing the game normally it shouldn't be noticed. You don't look at every random NCR soldier or tourist and compare them between areas. And even when going for the more violent route, by the time looting there would be so many corpses, it falls under the radar.

It just genuinely made me a bit angry..all of the dialogue in this game is fucking phenominal, and I don't really like when people do "voice overs" for the dialogue lines

Fun Fact, the "sneak and 'splode" actually has an in-universe name. It's called the Shady Sands Shuffle, named by Argyle in Fallout 3 i believe.

If the first explosion did not kill the NPC outright, it will turn hostile. Killing an NPC in this way can often make the game crash." from a wikipedia entry on fallout 2, so you're just lying now lmao the header from that same page (planting items on the wiki) also states "Planting items, also referred to as reverse-pickpocketing and the Shady Sands Shuffle"

These 'living a life in a videogame settlement' videos are so good it's a shame the realities of RU-vid mean you're stuck in Bethesda games. Though I suppose there aren't boatloads of other High-quality games in this genre that you can work with. otherwise loving how these videos continue to get better my dude.

@@Joov You could try Survival Games like Conan Exiles and limit yourself to one square. I'd watch that. Though thats less on the story side and more on the gameplay side. You could set yourself goals like: Build a house. Get the best armor and so on.

While not that exact glitch, I did have all the corpses I’d just made teleport with me into The Institute once. Teleporting back, the crime scene was empty and rereturning to The Institute, the corpses were gone as well. Pretty weird.

Fun fact, the atomic wrangler crier, you know the girl in the leather skirt..she was 13 at the time of recording those lines, but they didn't realize it because they were in such a rush to get the voice recording done. But after you know that fact, hearing her say "thirsty? Hungry? Horny? Head on over to tge atomic wrangler" just feels a bit wrong you know. Sorry if I ruined any of your guys thoughts with that
