Reminded me of my dad. He was never at home. Because he always had at least two full time jobs and the occasional odd job here or there. I didn’t understand or appreciate the sacrifices he made for our family until it was too late to tell him. Beautiful song.

To answer your other question, it's not so much whether the mortar/sand mix is cheaper than regular concrete. It's that regular concrete has gravel in it, rendering it impossible to trowel and carve. Believe me, I've tried it. You really need the smooth workability of the mortar/sand mix. It is very strong as well.
