Yes, that is Duck Country. We have played sports there. Where have you been finding good auto printable? I have been looking and have not found them, mainly Ford. Have you ever tried this on steel? How do you cut the metal?
1. Go to google and type in "vintage auto ad images, or vintage Chevrolet ad images, or vintage oil and gas sign images, you'll find plenty of pictures. I only use these for personal use, I don't sell signs unless they are my own personal designs. 2. Most of my signs are on metal. The transfers work well, especially using the polyacrylic method on my second sign video. 3. I buy my metal at Lowe's in the section of the store where they sell metal heat/ac duct. It is about 12.00 a sheet and you can make up to 8 signs from one sheet. Hope this helps
That meet up will be july 20 in Bristow Oklahoma. It's called BAM fest. BAM stands for Bristow America Meetup. I will try to send you a link for information. You could meet other youtubers and viewers and they could meet you. It could help your channel a lot. Just a thought.
that is insane bro... where do you get these ideas... I'm an artist, oil paintings to custom furniture build and plenty in between but this is so crafty and almost free to make... liked and subbed..
So glad you enjoyed the video. Many people don't see the beauty of this. Very inexpensive, and becomes a piece of art. The views of this video have been minimal, but I think over time this will be something of unique value. I appreciate so much that you find it interesting.
Old dude in Canada... I love this... I can go to print store and get larger formats printed out for sign making... so simple so beautiful... thanks friend...
I'm glad you liked the idea. Continue to tune in, as my goal is to make videos for the everyday man or woman who want to use what's lying around to make cool stuff.
Funny story. Monday we had some strong winds. A couple limbs broke above my house ( no damage). I went on top of my house today with a chainsaw (probably not smart being 62 and home alone). The first limb i threw down knocked down my ladder! I had to sit up on my roof until my son stopped by. lol
Wish I could say I came up with the horse mat idea, but they work great, and they are relatively cheap to purchase from Tractor Supply. Stops arrows fantastically.
any clear polyacrylic finish will work. I have another video on making signs as well, which shows a much easier and more effective way to make those signs. My channel is called okladoma.
Very cool, great job. I certainly agree with you on who I would rather look at lol mamado is beautiful and her smile and eyes are just so pretty. Love your videos!
Nice job on the backstop. The only thing i would do differently is i would use rope instead of chain for hanging the target. This way if u accidentally hit it with a arrow you won’t damage the arrow hitting the rope like you would the chain. Otherwise great job.
Be careful to not overdo the paint strokes. If you go over an area that is cracking, you will be filling up the cracks and will not have any cracks to be seen. There is no need to spray with water.
Thanks. That was my first video on RU-vid and probably needed a lot more editing to speed things up a bit. Check out my sight, I have a newer sign video using a much cleaner method.
Great instructional vids 👏 . What paper do you use print to create transfer and is that standard inkjet print, also what white paint are you using please, here In U.K. we have different brands so trying to get same or closest to yours. I am very interested in you art work on another video TIA 👍
I use regular copy paper and a standard ink jet printer. Nothing fancy at all. I also use standard white latex paint. I prefer "flat latex" but "semi gloss" will work too. I've even used "flat" spray paint with great results. One thing I started doing was to spray either "flat black" spray paint or primer before the white to get better adhesion with the white. Using spray paint, you don't have brush marks, so the sanding is easier. I will be making another video soon. It's Christmas time here, so things are busy, but I hope to get one out very soon. Glad you enjoyed. Hope you'll subscribe and tell your friends about me. I love meeting new people. 👍
One thing I forgot to tell you. Make sure to use the clear matte polycrylic instead of the mod podge. It is a superior product, and don't be afraid to brush on a good amount before you stick your transfer on. I'm going to make a video about "Canva" which is what I use to make my designs. It's free and makes things simple. Be sure and check it out.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Check out my latest sign video, it has an updated method for transferring your pics onto the metal signs. Works very well. 👍
Dude, you are absolutely empowering and inspiring. What an amazing project. I love how you engage your audience and the editing clips are amusing. Props to you! I plan to do something with my container on my property. My wife is excited as well. By the way, you have a beautiful family, you're a blessed man.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I put a lot of time and effort into these videos. I love to teach, and I try to keep it interesting. If you ever have questions about your build, give me a shout, I'd be glad to help any way I can.
I would love a straight forward canva lesson- I wish I had a dollar for every video I’ve watched trying to get it but you are a natural teacher - and Mama, if you ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy, lol. Would love to see you more in the videos
Thanks for the kind words. I have several people interested in the Canva tutorial, so I will start that immediately, and I'll try to incorporate Mama Doe into the videos more. She is hard to pin down 😂
Hi there! Just wanted to say, that you have really-really good videos! You asked about who is interested about your Canva design? I am! 💪 Greetings from Finland! 🇫🇮
