@@mjcarter11 yes that's him. He was paralyzed from doing a front flip at a triles show at the siverstone race track. These are videos about him explaining what happened.

One of my favourite things in videos like this (goes for lots of other channels that show tricks in various sports) is seeing the progression from idea through repeated failure to success. Not because I can laugh or point fingers at the mistakes, but because it shows that even the best make mistakes, and that's such an important thing to not only know but also to see in order to motivate people. Far too often we treat failure as the end of the road and something horrible rather than as a natural and expected step on the road towards success, and videos like these help break down that mindset.

This is my favourite video all year! Martyn and Blake rock! It’s so easy to get caught up in racing and epic rides and forget to go out and have some simple fun. Have you thought about doing a podcast?

Martin Ashton is a legend . Met him like 15years at a bike show and he signed my t shirt its pinned on my garage wall still to this day he was a big part of my life growing up . So glad he hasn't changed

Fat biked for 3 years commuting year round, on a PoS mongoose dolomite. People love the tires, it's safer than any other bike for avoiding traffic and pedestrations, and I've ploughed through 3 blizzards past cars spinning in the street in western NY weather.

I have been riding a fat 27 gear mountain bike on the street for 1 1/2 years touring the western USA. I rode it from Jackson WY to Tucson in the fall of 2018 and from Tucson to Flagstaff AZ, the Grand Canyon, Zion NP and back to Flagstaff this year and in two weeks will be riding back to Tucson. I do ride trails sometimes but mostly streets, highways, interstates (where nesessary)

I'm starting to kinda want a fat bike... Also, how on earth do you guys not carry tools to fix that flat?! You need to watch GMBN's "Ten things to take on a mountain bike ride" or GCN's "How to pack for a bike ride"... even those guys know you MUST prepare for flats!

It needs even less, but still - how long does it take? It already feels like it takes forever to pump up a normal 2.4 inch tyre with a foot pump (compared to a 25-28 mm tyre up to 5-6 bar)

That was great! I have the same bike. Fully ridgid stock 3.8 with carbon 35 mil rise bar. Bad ass bike. But a wrist crusher on the steep and deep..my favorite Playground! Keep them coming!!!💪

Buffalo 51 In the Midwest streets are garbage! Potholes, curbs and glass, trash! I ride a Trek commuter bike and the smaller tires tear your balls up with the raggedy streets! Lol

There are no rules as to where you can ride your fatbike.i ride mine all year round,and i am more than happy with it.anyone who says otherwise needs to get a life and stfu.your negative opinions really fall flat about my fat.

@@iffy5bassthunder677 love what you said. I've had one person tell me they're only for sand/snow and that they're too hard to ride on pavement. I wish people would keep comments like that to them because it discourages people from going out and having fun. Both my parents who know nothing about bikes did a little test ride and were amazed and how smooth and comfortable the ride is. Which is true, doesn't matter where you're riding, it just feels like you're floating. Fat bikes are enjoyable however you wanna ride.

I only have my fatty trail at the minute and I use it for everything. Street, trails and Dh. Antur stiniog was immense in it. Fat bikes can do everything. They may not be the best at one thing but they are a great all round bike and would highly recommend anybody trying one if they never have

What sort of damage did the bike take when blake smashed the BB shell against that rock? Scratches? or something more substantial?

Because of this video, not only am I about to buy a Fat Bike, but I am going to start riding a bike again for fun & health (mainly)!! I'm about 65lbs overweight and need something fun to do. I'm positive I'm not 50% or even 15% the rider in the video is, but if I ever do become 15% I think I'll be having a load of fun!! I haven't got a fat bike but ive turned a 24 inch cruiser into a 24 inch jump bike 26 inch fox float forks with a specialised fat roller 2.8 inch front tyre grips amazingly good must say it jumps better than any 26 inch jump bike
