+Fullmetal Kirby7 Actually we are trying to figure out what our brains got wrong. As these puzzles trick our brains and make us see whats not actually there. For instance something this video doesn't go too deeply into but colors only exist in our brains. The world around us doesn't exist as certain colors however the objects in our every day world do reflect light which our eyes can pick up. That reflected light comes in different wave patterns based on the level of lighting and the surface of the object. Our brains then interpret them as different colors. Colors are basically our brains way of allowing us to more easily interpret the world around us. This is important here because as stated in this video science doesn't fully understand how some of these tricks work. And that's because we don't yet and may never fully understand how the human brain works but that's for another conversation. All that you need to know for here is that our perception of the world around us is wholly a creation of our brains and the flaws we see are not inherent within our surroundings but within our minds.

There's nothing wrong with your eyes if you see something different from what it actually is, as explained in the video, it's all a matter of perception. But just as it is in the video, the colors are absolute, regardless of what you see yourself. The dress is technically black and blue or so says the person that bought the dress/took the photo.

This is actually very simple. It is perfectly described in DBZ during the trunks saga. Going back in time creates a separate universe. You may change the events of that time but the events of your time will remain unchanged. At best you are stopping something bad from happening in a different dimension/universe. Of course this is all theoretical as no one has ever done it but because of what you have said it is the only thing that would make sense. Then again it now begs this question, what if someone has gone back in time, but we never knew it because it was not our universe that was effected? If that is the case then we would be exactly like the original timeline which now begs the new question, who is to say that some of the missing persons cases around the globe would not be a time traveler that entered into another universe without us ever knowing it? Trippy isn't it?

There are no “right colors” we perceive colors differently. I forget the name but there is a shrimp out there that can see more colors than us. You cannot imagine what it is seeing with your human brain. You nor I have that in our mind. So there is a general consensus based on majority and consistency, but remember color isn’t really a thing that has a set array of pigments.
