I had an iPhone 4 for several years. I definitely liked iOS 6 on it better than 7, when they took away the beautiful skeuomorphism. I thought iOS 7-up felt better on slightly larger screens like the iPhone 5c I replaced it with.
We don’t deserve Sam. He’s way too cool for this universe. I get the feeling he’s having mysterious adventures off screen that we will never know about.
aahh the good old times when phones were actually something you can use with one hand and the screen shape is perfect rectangle without any stupid notches or rounded corners. ❤
I have an iPhone 4 I use just for the fun of it. I have several other phones, but the iPhone 4 just has a nice feel to it.... it's a great size, and after some mods I've been able to use Alexa, FaceTime, Skype, and as a Roku remote control among a list of things...... All in a nice carry along size! It's just a nifty little phone!
Never used one of these back when they launched. My first iPhone was the 5C, loved the size of that phone. In the US, I think you'll need minimum the iPhone 6S to still be supported because of VOLTE since all the carriers have shuttered their 3G networks.
I got an iPhone 4 for work and would choose to use my crappy budget Android device over it. Maybe the one I got was old or buggy but it sources my apple experience dramatically.
iPod touch 5 would’ve been better as a device to depend on for work, iOS 9.x sucks ass but iOS 8.4.1 OTA exists. Too bad Apple Music is terrible on A5, shouldn’t be difficult to find one on a pre-Apple Music iOS 8
I own four, one from 1958 and another from 1962, made in some sort of black Bakelite, and two others from 1984, plastic made, one beige and brown and the other medium and dark green. Their ringing is outstanding and they work perfectly.
I've had an iPhone 4 for nearly 12 years, and it only gave out about a month ago (won't even allow itself to be wiped). Gonna get a 12 mini and see how that goes lol…
Mm I'll see when I get there. I'm not a super heavy phone user (I use a PC and a laptop for 90% of what I do; my phone is for occasional music, Discord, or RU-vid, alongside, y'know, actual phone things), so battery doesn't matter _that_ much to me. Despite my 4's age, its battery would last three or four days on a single charge. Probably just good battery health and practices rather than the amount I used it, though. Also where I am, stores sell 13s for $1,200 at minimum spec, whereas I've found 12s in the $700-800 range. (Keep in mind I'm in AUD, but I personally am apprehensive to get above the $1,000 point just for a better battery when I am used to my phone that sat below the $400 range when it was new)
I’m not sure about other phone carriers, but I am a boost mobile representative and I can tell you that at boost we cannot activate anything before the iPhone 6. It has something to do with not being able to communicate with the new networks available.
As a Romanian, I can say that we've evolved, our latest iPhone isn't the iPhone 4, it's the 4s ! There are also rumors of a new iPod and the iPhone 5c coming out, can't wait!
Mine kept losing functions after functions until nowadays, updated to the limit, it just makes calls, SMS, email and very little else. It lost RU-vid - even through the Browser - and WhatsApp capability and much more. The Browser is very limited, incompatible with many sites and Chrome could not be updated. Unlike with Androids and Google Play Store, NO Update in Apple Store is compatible and you don’t have other options, like the Aptoide Store or uptodown site for Android. Several Factory Apps no longer work and cannot be updated nor deleted. Battery capacity remains excellent. It’s little more than a dumb phone now. I retired and stored it, replacing it by a Samsung A51. I won’t buy iPhones again, I noticed they become obsolete much, much faster than Androids.
RU-vid can be workable. Yet, they do something to stop function. It gets sound and video through Google/Yahoo browsers, but stops in two seconds. All mobile cos are after money making. Our sentiments are not respected, keep on throwing out our devices in the name of yearly upgradation and making this earth a dump yard too. Very sad, not related to spending money periodically, but our sentiments of holding the memorable antiques, not possible.
I still have my SIM card in a Galaxy Note 3; I would upgrade but I hate upgrading stuff just because it's old and it hasn't died. Still gets calls, SMS and Messenger, so it's good for 90% of everything I need.
Yes, In the apple cut off all updates but it's still usable!!!! I have seen people out and about still using a 4 and 5.....Yes you can but I would not recommend it.
I just saw someone using the original iPhone and while I never conformed to this product line, I found that the phone was so small, I couldn't believe so many people actually preferred this small screen.
the best phone in 2022 no more rubbish! Portable medium not palmtop/. Real phisical buttons and strong materials. I regret not doing only phones like that well made oryginal in shape and loyal in use.
Hi guys, I think apple needs to put new updated internals in and give us iphone classic! The SE and mini iphone's 12/13 do no justice to the iphone's prior to the iPhone 5/5S/5C
iPhone 4 is my dearest first smartphone. It will work even now if I replace the dead battery. It is the most durable phone I ever had. Still waiting for a phone that durable in 2022.
@@michawee I disagree On paper durability should be more. I personally do not own any iPhone after 4. But based on many of my friend's iPhones, damages are more frequent than I experienced. And cost to repair doesn't make sense.
I've used iphone 4 2 years ago it was very nice sonce i jailbreak it i was watchin youtube and netflix on it and playing some emulator games like gba and nes and snes and some games like gta 3 and Minecraft but the big problem that i canot fiind an original charger for uphone 4 so the cable st of p working around 1 month
I have an iPhone 4 and despite being able to login to apple using the secure method it won’t stay logged in. Let us not forget this thing is a 3g device and 4g was tacked on later on via an update. I can’t really see this old device being useful if at all for anything in the near future.
You can still download apps from the app store first you sign in into ur icloud its going to say its incorrect so its going to tell to put the password again so on your other iphone its going to give you a pin on the old iphone or ipad put your passowrd and that pin no spaces then u can download ur crap.
I still have my iPhone 4 32gb black with the box too and it runs okay but slow as fuck. Plus its sadly on the lates ios 7.1.2 and I haven't downgraded the thing yet. Sad its not really usable lol.
Maybe your girlfriend and you can start another channel on how tech savvy each of you are including the cats. Disintegration guns, shrink beams etc are not allowed for kiti 2.0.
