+Zedrro I had to take off my pants to remove my prosthetic. I went to a kind of inspection room and stayed there waiting for about 5 minutes for him to come back with my leg...
i love how he said Owen is his favorite travel companion, i would love to see them travel more together, would be awesome! hopefully if Owen finds the time, since College is busy and all.
1:39 No, Casey, in LA people rarely work. Aspiring "actors" and "models" have a hard time finding work, so I think they say, "Fuck it," and go surfing instead. Breaking Waves > Broken Dreams.
I could seriously just sit and listen to you talk about all the things you do & know forever! You are so interesting, & live such a different life than I do... The beauty of watching bloggers do their thing!! ;) Thanks again for sharing with us.
+nivimani The word youtubers isn't possessive, it's plural, so no apostrophe is needed. Possessive basically means when you attach a noun to another word, like 'Casey's sunglasses' or 'Casey's camera is really good'. I hope that helped! :P *Aaanndd the Grammar Nazi has landed*
x Wylie Looks like you did not understand. The possession apostrophe is obviously not the case here, but in some cases, the addition of apostrophe+s indicates that the plural form is present, E.G. CD's.
I worked with an engineer in Huntington Beach, he would start his day surfing in the morning. Make it to the office at 9:00am. Take is lunch and hit the waves again. Dude was a surfing NUT.
*I copy Casey Neistat and here is why.* Maybe that was a bit of hyperbole but I run my own channel and I am a big fan of Casey. I know he says he hates people who are copycats off him but honestly, I don't exactly copy him, but I do take a lot of inspiration. I get a lot of comments on how I vlog just like Casey Neistat and here is the thing. Casey Neistat, does this thing called cinematic vlogging, making his vlog more of a movie than just a little put together video and whenever someone tries to do that too, they get told that they are copycats which I think just isn't true. Copying specific things is wrong like Casey's intros but I think the style of the video shouldn't be frowned upon; that we can all choose a style and add our own originality in there.
Casey, I honestly can't deny the fact that returning to your videos is like returning to a fun, educated, raw, humorous, and compelling source of entertainment. Bravo!
+Vparis I'm actually a skier, who's been on two planks since 2 1/2 years old... but The Art of Flight by Brainfarm is one of my favourite films and the most beautiful cinematography I've ever seen. So stoked for their new film coming... and I'm hoping to film more in the mountains this winter too :)
+Chris Prouse I know I have watched your vlogs!! You travel for skiing as well. I used to ski from 3 y.o. to 8 y.o. when i started snowboarding. I travel for snowboarding as well and I used to race as well. I agree. The art of flight was something magical. Something weird. When you were on Thailand, I was as well! I was on Chiang Mai and Koh Samui.
DogLove Same as in the Netherlands. However, you can see from the footage when Casey was driving that the black car was actually going faster than Casey's car. Also, in the rest of the footage, you can see that he stays in the left lane.
I completely agree with you! London is such a beautiful place, you must come and visit when you get the chance. And the park thing is completely true, it's one of the greenest cities I've seen! Btw the weather is that way because of constant, warm winds blowing from across the Atlantic ocean throughout the year which makes it somewhat impossible for temperature to drop to such a level for creating snow.
Casey, in 1979 I had a scariest flight experience very much like yours. During the civil war in El Salvador, we had to make an emergency landing there due to an air traffic controller's strike in Mexico City. It was like landing in a plowed field. As soon as the 737 stopped rolling about five soldiers brandishing machine guns rushed aboard and began shouting at everyone. After a few minutes they got the word that word that it was a real 'emergency' landing and then were all like "Oh, come into the gift shop and buy some souvenirs", yeah, right nobody moved for like 20 minutes. So, I kinda know what you went through. It's a real heart stopper.
Well I'll extend help too, Singapore airlines and Cathey pacific are great as well. Even the economy class/ coach is pretty good as compared to others. ( International flights though.)
Somehow your stories about your adventures make people want to keep listening but also inspire you to stop and go have one yourself. Sticks with you. Thank you.
Wetsuits have a little pocket with a string where you can keep your key.. Or, if it's a remote key, I hide it before I go out...which is dangerous as it sounds haha
+Jeanne Lee I got a non electronic key made then I use a dog tag chain and wear it inside my wetsuit. I lock my stuff in the trunk. Or if I'm at a beach and I know the life guards I will leave my bag at the tower
Have you ever seen those key lock boxes on houses? I have one hanging on my cars tow hitch and that's where I leave my key when I surf. Some of my friends have keypads on their cars so they don't even have to worry about their keys
Y not stick to the right lane if you're not overtaking then? There r some rules... Driving like that in europe would pretty much end up the same... People would honk, blink with their headlights etc...
Casey travels around the world and makes it look easy. He always stay positive and enjoys life to make good content for his audience. Man who wouldn't want that life? Inspiration would be a least word as how great of a man casey is.
I just found your channel on Mr Ben Brown's channel list recently and came over to have a look! Really enjoy your vlogs and content and look forward to seeing more! Thanks for sharing!
Unpopular opinion, but I find funForLouis one of the most disrespectful travel vloggers around. His travels are very shallow and the way he acts around different cultures is a bit eyebrow raising. Just saying it. Ben on the other hand, his stuff is great when he travels, always something different, even though he can fall into the same trap of constantly searching for a coffee place and laptop club.
One of the best vlogs in awhile. Cool surfing @ 9am on a Tuesday. Excellent Q&A. Scary travel story. Upgrade to Business Class, but uncomfortable when the director says "Action". Best moment? "I'M SURFING....I'M SURFING...I'M DOIN' IT."
I always look at these vlogs and then as soon as I see that intro for Questions & Answers, I'm like: "Has another week flown by already?!" Keep up the good work, Casey.
02:18 "I'm surfing! I'm surfing! I'm doin' it!" Now I'm imitating a drowned rat. Hah! 🤣 I totally agree with Casey's remark about land travel being underrated. I've had some awesome train adventures (in Europe, not the U.S.), and I once cycled with a couple friends halfway across the U.S. We're now hoping to do the other half.
Is there anyone better than Casey? Like for real, the man is a legend, inspiration, and a goober all wrapped into one mega human. Casey for president in 2020!
Biggest piece of air travel advice: Wear full-toe, slip-on shoes like Vans or Loafers. 1. Full toe shoes and socks keeps you from getting god-knows-what on you in the airport (airports are filthy) and 2. SOOOOO much easier going through security.
+Jack Coyne You are welcome Jack :) Since this is our first contact i have to say that my real name is Thomas, and i am an engineer/scientist from Germany. Check out the Oktoberfest! Alles Gute :)
