Max Webster is inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Canada’s Walk of Fame celebrated 13 rock legends from the 70s and 80s during a sold-out show at Toronto’s Massey Hall in a first-ever mega induction ceremony dubbed “Canada’s Rock of Fame.” The newly minted Inductees are APRIL WINE, CHILLIWACK, GLASS TIGER, LEE AARON, LIGHTHOUSE, LOVERBOY, MAX WEBSTER, MICHEL PAGLIARO, PLATINUM BLONDE, PRISM, ROUGH TRADE, THE PARACHUTE CLUB, and TROOPER.
The evening was presented by Canada’s Walk of Fame, alongside official partners Anthem Entertainment, Live Nation Canada and the Government of Ontario.

Mike Tilka made a memory boo boo. Max didn't open for Rush on the three Moving Picture tour shows at Maple Leaf Gardens, FM did. I was there all three nights.

My good friend and drummer on the first Max Webster album was far right and I don't believe they mentioned his name Paul Kersey wonderful wonderful guy my favorite drummer on the first Max Webster album excellent man

First thing that lead singer of Smash Mouth had liver failure since September 4, 2023 really sad. Rocket Norton keep on rocking keep up with the drumming.

Always felt like Max could have been global, interplanetary, pangalactic, but lesser artists had better PR. Tall poppy syndrome. Crabs in a bucket. Chicken salad in a rainstorm. The unique catharsis of Beyond The Moon. The borrowed shoes that didn't fit. The Party that destroyed the speakers and that persistent fear of Gravity, what a downer.
