I miss what we once had here in Canada.. and what has been taken away from us law abiding gun owners! Our laws make absolutely no sense! - To say one rifle "looks scarier" than another and then to ban it solely based on that criteria is just rediculous! We cant have an VZ-58 or AK-47.. but a Type 81 or SKS is fine. We cant have a Styer AUG or Ruger Mini 14 or AR-15.. but a Tavor TAR-21 and X-95 is Ok We cant have a FN Scar or M-14/M1A.. but a Browning BAR or M1 Garand is acceptable You cant even have more than a 10rd magazine in your Ruger 10/22 now.. thanks to our RCMP making up laws on their own without even going through legislature! - We all just woke up one morning and the RCMP sent out letters to retailers all across Canada saying Ruger 10/22 magazines over 10rds are now illegal in Canada.. and we just laid down and took it - meanwhile all other .22lr rimfire rifles in Canada can have 100rd drum magazines like the GSG-16 (which is really an HK-MP5 clone) and that's Ok..? Ive been a gun owner since the 1980's.. so Ive lived through the gun bans.. and I remember when a firearms license was called an F.A.C. (Firearms Acquisition Certificate) and there was no 3 day course or exams - just an application submitted to your local police dept - I remember when firearms and ammo was cheap.. and when we had less restrictions and more freedoms.. more options.. when we had 30rd and 40rd and even drum magazines.. and life as a firearms owner in Canada was good. Now.. we have even lost our handguns.. what's next..? I know I speak for many other Canadian firearm owners especially those who have been around for as long or longer as I have been when I say.. *I want it all back Canada!* *legal gun owners are NOT the problem!* *Criminals with illegal/smuggled/stolen guns are the problem!* *Leave us law abiding firearm owners alone.. go after the REAL problem.. and give us all of our shit back!*
they're systematically banning every firearm. Banned solely on looks? there's no way you're actually that gullible. They're disarming us so we can't fight back, can't stop Agenda 2030 and the W E F. It has absolutely nothing to do with crime or safety.
A Few Battle Rifles missing on the list, since the M1 was mentioned. RFB and Tavor 7. I'm guessing they will land pretty close to their Intermediate Cartridge Sisters.
They said that they will banning rifles deemed dangerous by OIC after the special safety committee identifies them. Wonder what the chance is they'll use this list
Well, going forward the corrupt Lieberals want to ban everything that shoots a bullet, at which point they will start on archery equipment. So all the hunters out there clutching their model 94's and wagging their fingers at black rifle owners, better start to step up. They have pretty much said that they want to transform the culture. They have stated that handguns will be completely removed from the public hands in a few decades thanks to their bans, don't think for a second that they support hunting by colonists.
I like my Lockhart Raven for 3 gun once I put my AR15 fixed gas block on it. The best thing about it is swapping my AR15 parts and accessories with it and it runs the LAR-15 10/10 mags just fine.
Personally, I would put the R18 Mk2 as an A-tier. From what I've seen, it's probably the most reliable 180-style rifle in Canada. However, it is a bit front-heavy and some mags can be prone to over-insertion. It also would've been nice if it had support for other AR-10 handguards since the one it uses was based off of the AR-10's (I think). Aside from that, it feels great to shoot and it can accept AR lower parts and triggers. Plus if you want to upgrade your handguard to the newer one with a full length pic rail, you can order one from SAI.
Hi, Hve looked at many reviews on many rifles, I have just got my PAL and looking for a decent rifle that is accurate, fun to shoot and none if minimal problems with, can you recommend any? range and accuracy also . thank you
get a kel tec sub2000 9 millimeter, pretty good gun for its price and i have about atleast 1000 or 1500 rounds through it and only had about 2 jams. great starter rifle if your new to guns.
I can tell you the best rifle on that list for the cheapest price is the su16. Reliable, lightweight, modular design with 3 different stock/grip options, lifetime warranty, works with every type of ar mag, extremely easy to take apart and clean Just an all around badass rifle that can be used for anything by anyone and for $1200 you just can’t beat it.
As someone who owns both gen1 and gen2. They are essentially the same rifle, the only thing thats different is furniture on the rifle itself and a reworked bolt carrier to stop from shattering like the gen1. Personally I bought the gen2 because I thought it was so much better when it is really the same with a bit better AR platform parts.
@@Official1616Club It's totally different, new upper, new lower, the pik rail isnt glued onto the receiver, reinforced rear takedown pin area. Right charging handle port removed, charging handle improved, overall QC is higher. I don't think you're talking about the WS-MCR
@@RossBoss90 I have both in front of me right now. I have the wk 180c I have the ws mcr I have the specter etc. I really bought into the AR 180 platform and found that they are all essentially the same rifle with different furniture like I said in prior comment.
Have you had any chances with a siberian other than the loaner going around? I know i commented on you're review of it but mines been flawless for 1200 rounds now. I put a proper scope on it ( had a 1x prism before) and it's printing 1 moa groups with a warm barrel at 75 yards. I know 5 others with them and so far their experience is the same. One guy i know put a squib in hid and blew it up, his fault and bcl still replaced the rifle. The real world experience I've had with the gun has been awesome, the only bad experiences i've heard of have only been onli e / youtube it seems. I did get mine in august so i will definitely acknowledge its of newer production than some out there adn there definitely could have been kinks since worked out.
I have also had zero issues with my Siberian. It has approximately 2000 rounds through it, I usually shoot brass but last weekend I put 300 rounds of Barnaul through it without a single failure….. she chewed em up and spit em out…. The gun was dirty as hell after though
@@josephbuckley5323 thats barnaul for you, their 223 was always filthy. I have to clean my siberian. i haven't stripped it down since i first got it. I deep cleaned it outta tbe box, greased it and have been letting her rip since. I love my siberian.
@@Huntinggearguy yes but how are they bad ? you mentioned the failures i knew about for the other rifles, but not much details on the sg rifle failures, and I haven't heard much reliability complaints of the new sg rifle batch, not that i have been paying much attention.
There is a whole thread on CGN. The handguards were the wrong size and came lose and are waiting for warranty replacement. Examples of crooked rails, poor welds etc. Many were unhappy. Earlier imports were more popular- largest complaint is that they use proprietary mags that are rare and expensive.
@kevinforget549 not sure if you can consider it fixed when a bunch of guys were just told to drill their gas ports oversized to compensate for the issue, and those barrels are still out there.
That's a pretty poor opinion on the SG-540/543 to give it a low ranking. The only real issues it has been having are handguard issues, shitty stocks and the rare BCG hitting stock adapter due to not having a hole drilled. All issues that are solved with a couple hundred bucks. And then you have a solid modern rifle with AK reliability
@DarkCatfish Canadian firearms manufacturers have to deal with recent changes in regulations. Many firearms parts from the previous design need now to be reinvented from zero to go around the weapon ban. Like every new design, new problems occur, but with research and development and support from firearms community, they will improve their design
It is slightly overpriced but it is the most reliable x39 semi in Canada, that’s why. Look at the other x39 semis..m10x, bren 2, wk181 etc. all rife with problems. Stove pipes, ftf, fte, ammo picky etc etc. The t81 is a hardcore battle rifle that you could literally go to war with and count on it performing flawlessly, that’s why it’s still worth the $2k.
@@ak4344ya well there’s a reason you can still buy brand new lmg’s but brand new folders or fixed stock t81 are not available. Nobody wants an lmg, everybody wants a real type 81 (folder or fixed stock)
The Raven is an overpriced aesthetically appealing paperweight. Hopefully we can get the PSA JAKL in Canada with the 180b lower through IRG. At the moment I think shelling out over $3500 for a NR BREN or APC is ridiculous.
I would change around the list a lttle bit: the M10x gen3 has been rather reliable, so B tier would be fine because of their spotty history. Any gun that is 100% reliable should be an immediate A tier: Gen 3 T97 and the SKS. A Kodiak rail on the SKS is a quick fix for optic mounting.
