It was the first time my Canadian family was visiting the Philippines and I was so excited to see some of their first time experiences.
Hanging out in Bohol, we ended up visiting my Uncle's favourite fruit stand, some local carinderias, and trying the famous Calamay from Jagna! In this video you will see my Canadian family (Aunt and Uncle/Tita and Tito) have many first time experiences in Bohol, Philippines.
The "Strange Food", isn't actually that strange once you get to know it... it is just delicious Calamay!!

I think in all countries have good and Not so Good people ... but the normal simple people is mostly Good. And when they are not Good, it is often because of Manipulation Made from Medias or governemnts. No human is born as Bad people . I am from Germany and many people think we are Bad but it is not true , when people from Japan visited me they was in many countries before and said to me the friendliest people they saw was in Germany. Internet is a Good Chance to her to know people worldwide ... This is Really Good and we should do i think

Your uncle Kulas is a truly a trooper.....eats what is there.....fruit juice, eat in calanderia, ice buko candy, lastly his funny stunt in eating kalamay (brown sugar + coconut milk)....they are bagets at heart (your uncle n aunt). WOOOW DUDUL! We do have our own version of Calamay in Maguindanao province, we call it DUDUL. But we mix it with a lil bit of durian jam. And its really good.

Kuya Kulas kalamay and fruit salad might be very sweet but their my fave desert back in the Philippines miss dyud nako na kaayo. Also your uncle and aunt are so cool to be with, very energetic murag ikaw dyud kuya kulas. Amping mo diyad sa bohol and if they have time bring them to CDO with you.

i m Fiilipino living in Canada, When I watch this guy video, it is always too good to be true. This guy seems so happy and living in a perfect world. When i go back to the Philippines it is not all that fine and happiness all the time. Lots of fight with the in laws and jealousy and lots of dramas. Oh and did I mention running out of cash.

Maybe they can use paper cups just like what we use in Makati for liquids. But I think what they are using are biogradable plastics which I hope are plant-based as invented by a Filipino student.
