The only artist I really know much about is Lee Aaron, of course. Very cool video!

Hi Peter! Well done on the detailed rundown on unleash the archers. Lee Aaron I was not familiar with either. I sampled her on discogs snippets and she sounds really good. I need to get over my mental block on buying a heavy metal album. The other artists you showcased need to check out as well. RU-vid links in description very helpful.

@@vinylshawn4757 Well, thank you so much! I’m glad my efforts were worthwhile for someone. (I sometimes talk too much!) If you’re not into Metal, maybe most of the artists I mentioned will not be your cup of tea. But Lee Aaron, Ché Aimee Dorval, and perhaps Unleash the Archers’ more recent albums could be worth your time. Thank you so much for watching and your encouraging comment!

There are so many newer metal bands, and I know in years past I have run across Unleash the Archers, but probably need to look more into them. For a while there, it just seems like a flood of female fronted metal bands hit us and it all started sounding the same. Lee Aaron is a classic for sure. I am still on the lookout for vinyl releases of her earlier stuff. Lots of other bands I've not heard of, but sound interesting. Back in the 80's, it was Lee Aaron and Headpins were the key Canadian female singer bands, now there are so many more.

@@JeffMcCormack777 Yup! Darby Mills of Headpins. She rocked! But you’re right. Once a trend takes off there’s no end to the flood of similar-sounding bands. I figure find a few you like and you don’t need to keep digging. Unleash the Archers are special to me, so I’m glad to hear of their success. But maybe you could find similar bands out there? Thanks a lot for commenting, Jeff!
