Live performance is about feeling the audience and changing it up if the audience wasn't responding to it. I feel that he stuck to the script when it was clear the audience wasn't responding to the other subject. Bruno was right, the timing was off. His jokes were flying at 100 miles/hr.

Well done Kevin! Don't worry mate, that's the way it goes sometimes- be proud. Your audition was outstanding! It takes a lot of guts to go up on that stage and do comedy

His audition was successful because he started off by taking the mick out of himself, which warmed up the audience and got them laughing at him. Once you've got the audience laughing at yourself, you can then start to take the mick out of them and they will continue laughing at themselves. This time though he just walked onto the stage and immediately started making fun of Britain's regional accents with no warm up. I wouldn't say the audience were offended but they just weren't primed to laugh along with it this time.

I was really looking forward to this performance but nothing landed and just managed to insult various regions. Such a shame!

It is like he is giving a presentation on different accents of the UK

I had to walk out the room and pretend I needed the toilet, so awkward. Could tell after 10 seconds he was going to have a stinka. RIGHT??

The judges comments were spot on. The fact that we know he has potential because of his audition makes this painful to watch. I agree with Amanda, she phrased it well; Kevin, if you're reading this DON'T GIVE UP you really do have a spark somewhere you just has to relight it like the fire in your 1st audition 🔥

His accents we're spot on. He definitely has potential. I feel like he's trying to hard to be funny when he doesn't need to.

This was terrible and unfunny. Rushed and was nervous. His audition was quality and hilarious.

He definitely has top comedian potential, but then if you go to his RU-vid (funny as they are) 90% of his videos are focussed on accents... so he needs wider material that's framed around accents as well :)

Loved his first audition this one did feel a bit off but he tried his best I felt like he was rushing it and Bruno was right he wasn’t giving enough time for delivery to land I feel like he was nervous and just rushed it such a shame but well done Kev x

Great accents but almost like he didn't really have a routine planned. He's already done the whole "I can't believe there's so many accents in the uk"

I thought the pingu/scouse skit was really funny and I think he would have been better if he stuck with one accent and moved onto something different. I really feel for him and hope he isn’t discouraged. Simon seemed to be going a bit soft up until this point and I don’t think this performance warranted such a harsh critique. It’s been the strongest year in terms of actual talent that there’s been in ages, so it was going to be tough for a stand up comedian to stand out amongst some of the other acts, even if he nailed it! If you read this Kevin, you have so much potential and seem like a genuinely great guy. Don’t give up and keep practicing! I imagine you have a lot more in your arsenal than accents so take some risks and try something different! Wishing you the best!

His first audition was really funny. I agree with Bruno this one had too many accents without any pauses in between. He was racing through, which made it feel manic. He is very talented and funny, One off routine doesn't change that. 3 judges gave kind constructive comments. Simon, of course, has to be classless/rude with the buzzer.

He didn’t get off to a great start, maybe nerves got the better of him but his accents were good and and that scouse bit, now that was funny! When he said to Simon “your lookin dead sexy there lad, proper boss in ya little uniform” that has got to be the best thing anyone’s ever said to Simon!! He’s got scouse down to a tee, especially words / phrases, absolutely boss!! x

I've watched him when he can be uncensored and his material is 10x better

He knew once he finally finished he messed up & wanted the ground to swallow him up! He couldn't hide the look on his face. It was rushed & couldn't adjust when his jokes didn't land. Shame because his audition was actually good but he didn't change it up as his performance was the same, all about accents.

I didn’t find him funny but I do love him on tiktok. I do find it really unfair when they buzz on the live shows. He did well to keep going, u can tell he was knocked. Hope he isn’t too hard on himself after tonight

I think he has a certain personality that I like, but he only seemed to have one arrow in his quiver, he only talks about accents, and he tries slightly harder than is needed, he had funny jokes but they were too quick for me, I’m sorry

His first audition was brilliant. This felt very rushed and he had not rehearsed the set for the right timing. It was like he tried to cram 6 minutes worth of material into 4. I would go see him live!

That was a bad performance. He rushed through his set and so the timing was all off. Don't think I heard the audience laugh once. Fair play to Kevin for giving it a go - stand-up comedy is soooo hard.

Better material to back up the talent would help, timing wasn't great, he kinda sped through it, but that can learned, he's very likeable, the energy wasn't quite there tonight and the audience connection went south but he's very talented and full of life, he will hit big with the right support and help with his act, work the clubs, get advice, he will make it ! :)

What I found funny is that most of the time Canadian's will go out of their way to inform anyone who will listen, that they aren't American. 😂 I want to inform everyone, too. We have no claim on this dude. 🤣🤣🤣

Tbh this is the response most modern comics deserve. The lack of warm up acts and alcohol expose the fact theyre just not funny.

The first part was bad, but soon as he did the northern accents and PINGU, it was more relatable and I found it amusing.

He is breathless too much excited as if struggling. I don't like it when comedians try very hard and get exhausted to make people laugh. If you have it you have it funny bones no need to try through constipation

i didnt rlly find him funny i found it more cringe, like yk when ppl are trying to be funny but theyre actually not and it feels really awkward, thats how i felt. But yk, not everyone's gonna have the same opinion as me some ppl will love him so i dont think he should give up

The act wasn't that great but fair play to him on the accents, they were pretty good. Certainly not the worst attempt at Scouse I've heard, decent compared to most.

I think it was best when we had opportunity knocks, Hughie green with the clapometter, at least it was straight to the point, instead of listening to so called judges beating round the bush, talking total bullocks ,it’s a sad world we are in at present , specially when the public calls the shots, and biggest laugh , the vote line, 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
