I love those close-ups of the rock sheds, then when you zoom out, we get a spectacularly awesome view of the mountains dwarfing the trains - as if we are watching an N-Scale train! Great catch Tyson and a perfect video!🤗 (I kinda liked it. lol) 🚂Lawrence
@@TracksideTyson I know all about hi-rail. Question was when I see a couple of pickups at one of the sheds how many mile of track did they run on to get there?
By rail only with a vehicle with Hy-Rail wheels and I think there is a bunch of ballast rail height to make a take-off spot - think road crossing with an 10 foot long road.
It’s named hi-rail which is a railroad employees truck with small metal wheels that comes down with hydraulics, these trucks can get on the tracks at a road crossing, and like someone had mentioned the railroad ballast (rocks) would be at track height for them to get off for trains to pass.
