Thanks for posting this, Lisa. I hope you remember me from your UMUC days. I remember you fondly. You and Michelle were/are two of my favorite UMUC people. This video shows real class and has important insights. And some good humor --- your comment at the end about not wearing a hat in the Texas heat really struck me as funny. Yeah, forget the hat. All the best. Jerry
Thanks for sharing your experiences with the world, so others can have insight into what you are experiencing dealing with your fight with cancer. It takes a lot of courage to have what can be extremely uncomfortable and honest conversations. Everything you shared is eerily familiar and the struggle is real. I will keep and your family in my prayers. Stay strong and keep fighting.
Lisa, This is Beth and Tim- no longer hailing from Okinawa , in Massachusetts now- Anyway. We stumbled across your video message and we want you to know we will be praying for your complete healing. You are so strong and so vulnerable at the same time- you are always real and that truth comes through as you speak about the cancer rollercoaster ride you are on. You are putting yourself out there to help others…. That is beautiful! YOU are beautiful!! If you feel the need to get away from that Texas heat please know you have a room ready for you here on the East Coast!
It's Mindy - I'm so sorry to hear you are battling cancer. We will pray for you and the family. I don't understand what it's like to go through cancer, but I do understand the loneliness. I have an "invisible disease", Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgia Encephalopathy, which has lowered my immunity, significantly decreases my energy, and even some in my family doesn't understand. I guess I wanted to let you know your feelings are valid and to let you know, you aren't alone in feeling them. Is this a God stop? 🤷♀️ As Kojak said in the TV series "Bald is beautiful baby".
