Cancer sucks. Hard days are bringing me down farther and farther. One day I may not bounce back, and I'm scared that I won't get to Vermont for medical aid in dying (MAID). That's a scary thought. I also discuss my Dupuytren's Contracture.

I just got over Covid- it was brutal. I am 70 and in excellent health but as I age, viruses seem to hit me harder now. Hope you feel better soon

@@patsmith8035 I got the jab back in 2021. I ended up in ER two days after getting the follow up (2nd) shot two months later in 2021. I will never ever get Covid or flu shots again

Keeping you in my prayers 🙏. My 98 yr old Mom was ill a few weeks ago, Covid test was negative, but her symptoms were definitely Covid. She recovered, and I pray you do too . Please just rest, and take care for now.

I also live in PA and got Covid about a month ago, the test came up negative twice but my family had it and I was terribly sick. Nausea, body aches so bad and severe stomach pain also I did have a fever but my husband did not and felt very bad. It was my 1st time getting Covid and it truly was awful like a very bad flu, so you may be indeed have Covid. I’m so sorry that you’re feeling so awful, I hope it’s not to long before you feel a bit better 🤞🤞❤️✌️

I'm so sorry that you are feeling so poorly. My daughter and her fiancé just got over Covid. Luckily, it wasn't a bad case. Perhaps you should test again tomorrow? There are so many viral infections going around. I'm hoping that you'll start feeling better tomorrow, that it's just a bad virus. Sending healing prayers your way. Definitely rest up. 🩷🫶

I'm glad you mentioned that you didn't have a temperature, as I thought it might be the flu. Covid doesn't always show up in the first test, so you may want to test again. Please know that I'm thinking of you and care about you. I know these symptoms may be due to your cancer. I'm hoping not, as there are many viruses going around. My husband just came in from working in the yard and wants to talk. Please post again and let us know how you are doing.😘❤️

Oh my dear Francine, I hope my latest health issue with Covid and respiratory flare up and my whining about it didn’t upset you! I’m always sick so it’s nothing new for me. I am so sorry you aren’t feeling well, I sensed something about you the past few days. The hospital said there are so many different viruses going around in our state that they are having trouble keeping up. Your immune system seems to be working at keeping Covid at bay..this was my 5th bout. I’m sending you as much healing energy as I have to spare and many prayers. ⚡️💫🕊️🌸 Oh..now we can add Duputreyn’s Contracture to our ever growing list of shared ..everything’s! 🤭

I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad. Will be sending up healing vibes tonight for you! Nausea.....several of family and friends going through chemo I've advised to take "crystalized ginger candies" You can get at any natural store. It works fast and I'm told works so much better than all the RX's they've had. Just a tip to try, it does keep in the feeezer too if needed. Feel better, hugs!!

Sorry you are ill Francine. Maybe try another Covid test , I’ve had a lot of friends with it recently and they took the test right away and was negative then took another a couple days later and was positive. I just discovered a lump or cord as you described in my palm back in July and googled it and it was that contracture, haven’t seen a doctor about it yet. Hope you feel better soon!

I was planning on seeing a hand doctor but got a new problem…thyroid nodule…seeing a surgeon Wednesday, I’m sure I’m in for a needle biopsy ..I had a bad experience with one of those on my lung twice so have a bit of PTSD 😬

Do you have palliative care? If not, they will come to your home every week, every day, and even twice a day. They will examine you, dispense medications, keep a report with your doctor. They will prepare meals.

Sometimes you can pick up a lot of viruses from elderly homes, just like people who work at day care. That is why I gave up volunteering at these kind of places awhile ago, even though I loved it. Sometimes when you have cancer, it makes it hard to volunteer at these kind of places. I have had a virus myself this week-nausea, joint aches, just a total run down feeling. You do look very pale (not trying to be mean) and you do look like you don’t feel well. I take Promethazine for nausea. It is much stronger than Zofran. I hope you feel better soon 🙏🙏🙏

I know what you mean myfriend had cancer and named me power if attorney she no one else I was just as a neighbor on a different floor? I gave her firstm9rphine and called hospice to take her less one month gone then I got her ashes in the mail!,,, so sad so I had to empty her apt for 1600 dollars and a pile ofashes

Do you wear a mask when out in public? This will help you avoid COVID. I wear a fit-tested N95 after having a scary bought of Covid that gave me blood clots.

Looks like a viral or even bacterial infection. That s what you would think, if you didn't have the history of cancer. Get some rest for 2 days, If it persists then you deal with it, but for now you try to keep your spirit up!
