Recapping my Ovarian Cancer Journey so far. 

Francine, I can’t tell you how powerful these videos are. If it’s possible to handle terminal illness with grace, courage, and levity, you’re doing it. I know you have rough days where you have to dig deep to get through, and not everyone is going to be able to remain as grounded in the face of a poor prognosis, but you’re a shining example that it can be done. I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian (HER 2 positive) cancer in February of 2023. The chemo was very effective in shrinking the tumors, and I had robotic surgery in July of 2023, followed by two more chemo treatments and maintenance therapy until April of this year. My last scans showed no evidence so cancer, and my CA 125 has been steady at 5 for months. My oncologist was great, and said to live my life, and try not to worry. It’s tough because the rate of recurrence is so high with Ovarian cancer. There is another new treatment available if it comes back, thankfully. I appreciate you showing us that Ovarian cancer patients can continue to live life even when terminal. Thank you for posting about your journey!

I believe in laughter, joy & miracles!! I became a laughter yoga leader in 2006 after my brother died of a gunshot wound to his head. I personally don’t believe it was self-inflicted because his life was very complicated to say the least. We practice laughing for no reason & at any time we need to let go of fear, sadness & are not living in the present moment. It’s amazing how laughter can quickly turn to crying!! It surprised me during the training how much sadness I was holding. I enjoy you sharing Francine, I’m holding you in the Light & sending healing laughter & love vibes your way. ❤

Hello my sweet friend, I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA..I’ve been in a flare then I caught Covid for the 4th time. The first time was really bad..my left lung collapsed and I ended up in the hospital. This time is a very close 2nd as far as severity. I thought the end was inevitable last night, I woke up gasping for air and struggled until I hooked up my nebulizer. I’m not in the hospital..I hate them. Nurses make the worst patients because we know too much. I’m so sorry for all you have gone through, you certainly have a lot to think about. That would be wonderful if New Jersey would allow MAID! It would even be closer for me! I think of you all the time and I’m sending you healing energy and prayers. Take care beautiful lady 🙏❤️🥰

I'm fairly new to your channel and watch with interest as your OC sounds similar to mine. My recurrence entails scattered peritoneal metastasis. I actually had no symptoms (of recurrence). My oncologist discovered it because my Ca125 number kept rising dramatically. Haven't heard you mention this, and not all women have their tumor marker number go up as a clue. Has your number gone up a lot? Just curious. This journey has been so hard for me--as much mentally as physically--and am on dif. drugs for anxiety. Am praying for healing for you. Blessings!

😊 Hello my Friend. Hope you are feeling good today and over the weekend. Good update on your Journey/ Story. I wrote you a long email this Morning commenting on our DD Is it my Phone or RU-vid? Seems like I can only comment no more than twice. And not just you a few times this happened with different people. VERY aggravating especially because it was such a long comment nothing serious it was Commenting on the DD video. Now I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget Because I'm going to make a video about it. it was about me I noticed a pattern about my actions when it gets close to my Scans & Oncologist appointment. I'm wondering if I'm the only one who does this? Or is other people the same way. 😊 I'm sorry you're feeling sad😢 Great time to start painting 🌬🎨Sending you Creative Energy I need to get off here and try to paint or sketch something myself haven't painted all week because I been in so much pain.
