I wish that they had just put on a lovely headband with a veil, without the wig, to show her that she is beautiful even after something traumatic. She is gorgeous no matter what. So sad to hear that she passed though.

She wanted to be "me" for a day, her most important day in her life, and not just the lady with cancer. Can totally understand her wanting to have 1 normal day and feel beautiful without it all being about her having cancer. Sadly she died 9 years ago

A lot of Americans brag that we are the greatest country in the world, but that is far from the truth when I've seen so many people bankrupted by medical bills. Obamacare helped some, but we are a long ways from being "the greatest" while this is still happening. I view healthcare as a basic human right and your survival should not depend on the size of your bank account. I've always had great insurance but that's because I work at a great place that offers great insurance. So many millions aren't as lucky.

I prefer the way she looks with her hair cut.As someone who has had to cut all my hair because of a surgery who was scared to lose all my hair before I did,I surprised myself and I am not ready to have my hair grow out again.I only wish I had not bought the wig.No biggie.My bestie got it so that was not money wasted.

Not wanting to appear rude but… what did she do that was heroic? Having a personality, strong or otherwise, isn’t the definition of heroic. Yes *they’re* lucky to have her in their life, but getting ill doesn’t make her a hero. She was strong, brave and humble.

Think about this, the diagnosis is terrible, the treatment is worse and the possibility of your own death is all too real.Tomorrow never comes when you have cancer. Was she brave, more than you can imagine. She died eight months after she married.

Short hair wasn't in fashion when this was filmed in 2012 or 2011. Unfortunately she discovered she wasn't in remission, and passed in 2013.
