@@HalfNHalf. Those who are innocent of the crime they are on death row for don't. You would be surprised how many innocent people are rotting in prison, or have died/been executed for crimes they didn't commit. Now, if there is undeniable proof/witnesses/video or something that someone did murder someone, then ok, they should get an express pass to the front of the line. However, that's why we have so many appeals in our justice system, to give the accused the time to prove they are innocent.

Why murdered for what

The fact he was given the death penalty in 2009 and that he’s still alive is a problem.

I remember when that was in the news. Her mother murdered on that bike trail in Cobb County. Over 10 years ago now.

Sorry about that and I lost my mom and dad to illness. That is already hard but murder is even harder to deal with.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear this. It's unimaginable to me. I lost my Mom - she died of cancer 19 days after the diagnosis was made. It was so far advanced there wasn't a single thing they could do for her. I thought I would die that day. But what you went through is SO much more tragic, so unnecessary, so shocking.................I don't know how you got through it. It's wonderful to hear that you've met a man who means everything to you. He'll never replace your Mom but he will bring his own brand of love into your life and hopefully that will partially fill the hole in your heart.

So sorry for your terrible loss of your mum. I hope you can find a measure of peace one day.

This isn't the first time I've seen Lori give someone a dress, and I've also seen Lori and Randy decide together to give a bride her dress. I think if you run a business like theirs, you can't help but get emotional over some of the stories you hear.

I think she was completely overwhelmed and probably exhausted from trying on so many dresses. Such a heartbreaking time it would have been for her.

She was shocked and overwhelmed, surprised by Lori's heart of gold. I believe her mom walked her down the isle in spirit.

She wasn't a child, she was in her 20s. She was a young teen when her mother was killed, so wasn't a child then, either.

Was her case solved? Solving the case doesn't bring closure (what a silly idea) but at least it brings an end to some of the awful questions. For example, I lost a friend to a hit and run driver who was never found. He had left a big party early because he had work the next day, his car broke down and he was walking back to the party when he was hit. It was a rural gravel road and it was almost certainly someone who attended that party (I wasn't there--I was on a trip about 1200 miles away). Back in those days (1970s), forensics weren't what they are now and the police weren't able to solve the case. It was horrible to look at the people I knew attended that party and wonder if it was one of them that did it.

@@GrainneDhub-ll6vw Yes, the case was solved. From what I can tell, her killer was a stranger to her - he had previous convictions, and ambushed her. Fingerprints at the scene led the police to him. The killer was tried and convicted, and as of today, (April 8 2024), he is on death row awaiting execution.
