I'm considering going to Cancun this summer but I'm kinda scared to go . Did you feel safe when you were there?

Went to Cancun in 2005 the 4th of July weekend. Had a ball. It's beautiful and @ that time we felt safe. I have Hispanic friends who say Mexico City may be a concern for safety.
