But, the fact that you had to have a secondary guest on that you cut back to when Candace makes a statement, who’s sole purpose in this video seems to be to “debunk” everything she is saying, is really defeating the point. Candace is amazing and inspirational. This is another failed hit-piece from people that can't open their minds. Also, Jordan Peterson is not Conservative, he tries to stay apolitical. I've noticed when a true centrist calls out bs on either side, he's demonized by that particular side and is almost always called alt-whatever of the opponent side. It just shows the immaturity of those on that side with a knee-jerk reaction.

This is incredibly biased journalism. You can't even show a few minutes of an interview without needing to interject your commentary? Not to mention, for a video with an intro that frames things to be so allegedly "unbiased," a pretty condescendingly negative picture is painted of Candace throughout the video and even in the intro.

This is clearly a hit piece on Owens and the feigned motions of impartiality is insulting.

Did my research on the sound bites, you people at mic left allot out of what this black lady said. An argument or debate can not be won with editing of what someone says. Back in the day we called that LYING! "A person should not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

White conservatives like Candace because she's inclusive and speaks to common sense. Her messages of victor mentality over victim mentality is positive and she promotes patriotism and nationalism as being colorblind. When she discusses problems in black communities it's not about blaming whitey or looking for handouts. it's about speaking up, empowering and addressing the breakdown in the family unit that's effected black communities more than any in America. One of the key things though is she doesn't present various issues as just problems with blacks.. but rather all ethnic groups including the majority. That inclusive approach unites rather than ignites pushing people to follow ideas rather then being separated by color.

Decided to explore ideas unlike mine this morning ... I’m not locked into just one idea. Because I’m black I’m a democrat. My father thought that way... my sisters think that way, my black friends think that way.... as you can see I’m alone on my journey of life. Once again it took various people to explain what I already know. Fighting for the vote is a bitch and an uphill battle. Being born black does not mean I stand in a long line waiting for my branding of the jackass on my butt... it means I’m a black female. Retired schoolteacher... at a low income school; I have taught MANY black children who didn’t realize they were smart who went on to be doctors, lawyers, nuclear physicist.... people stop the fight allow blacks to be free thinkers.

The title of this posted video should have been "Horowitz, Jones, and Owens Discuss BLM". It was more about a journalist interpreting Owens rather than listening to what she has to say. That is pretty par for the journalism course nowadays. No surprise there.

Mic's format with this interview seemed at least partially, maybe solely, rooted in an attempt to rebut Candace Owens' points. I disagree with her in a handful of areas but have enough respect for her to realize that there was an active decision made by Mic's editors to try picking her apart. Frankly, it just came across as pushy, desperate, and indirectly justified some of what Ms. Owens has said regarding the manipulative tactics the media leverages against its viewers. There's something to be said for stating both sides of things, but the gentleman Mic continuously cited was clearly attempting to discredit Candace and that is what took the video into a dark, anti-journalistic corner. It's commendable that Mic's team made an attempt to appear open-minded. You've done far better than the Vox and Salon-types and I appreciate it. Lastly, I'd like to clarify that my upvote stands out of respect for Candace Owens, not Mic's tactics.
