I saved a screenshot from a year ago and it showed up in my Memories today. A lady looking at her looted, completely destroyed business. She wanted to know where BLM was. Why they took away her livelihood. She was an older lady, and that broke my heart. Is anyone doing better today than a year ago, thanks to BLM? Anyone? I also remember last year in Father's Day weekend. Children were killed in Chicago. Innocent little children. When asked why they weren't helping those families? There is absolutely nothing wrong with what BLM is doing. If this gentleman wants to work in education their are plenty of groups doing that. BLM has a primary mission to respond to police brutality and to demand accountability, and transparency. BLM has lobbied successfully nation wide to force jurisdiction to include body cameras and dashboard cameras. The camera is the big game changer. It used to be our word against theirs but the camera does not lie. The BLM movement has inspired people in the community to videotape police activity. Almost immediately there was a reduction in illegal arrest and cops are now being fired and sent to prison. Without the camera George Floyd would have been written off as a drug overdose and I can guaranteed there was no mention of a knee on his neck in the police report.

The list goes on and on of people who have broken no laws but trigger happy cops ended their lives. In a different time these men would have walked away with a vacation and Vindication that they did the right thing.
