I really loved your video, thank you so much for going over the added items we actually needed to make the candle. Im trying to find fun activities to do with my kids and this look like it would be perfect ! you made It looked very easy. I was shocked how much wax is sent in the bag perfect for several projects.

Very informative video . I’m about to embark on making some candles so wanted to know all the kit I needed. You mention hot and cold throw . What does this mean ? You also used a heat gun to heat the glass. Can you use something else like put in oven?

I got to know alot about candles, candle supplies and my interest for candle making is because of you.. Ive watched few of your previous videos and learnt few technical terms as well 😅 this kit is really good, how much was that for? You couldve gone for something pumpkin scented for fall.. 😁 Blueberry muffin sounds like a great pick too! But for a beginner, it wouldve been better if the kit came with instructions but then who minds, you've explained it so beautifully!

Excellent Video, Well Done you answered most of my questions and made it simple, you are a natural. Can you put more scent in to make it extra strong ? as when i buy a candle, it smells lovely in the shop but when i burn it , It has no smell at all. ? I will be ordering my kit soon and I cant wait to start. Thank you.

Thank you so much! That's brilliant to hear. So the maximum load will vary from wax to wax. Generally, the highest is 10% fragrance load. Having said that, a lot of the time it's the wick and wax that causes issues with scent throw so having that down is important. I think it varies company to company with scent throw. I found my first few weren't great but I got the hang of it after a while. Keep testing. How exciting! Do come back and let me know how you got on :)

Is important that is high quality and I agree unnecessary packaging is just a waste of resources. Trying my own candle must be great time

I've never tried making candles before. How much essential oils do you need to put in to have a nice fragrance on a candle? With soap, you have to put i think 20-25 drops perl lb. What about with candles? How much drops per oz?

Hey! Definitely give it a go, it's super relaxing! So I usually measure in metric system so in grams. I consider the weight of wax and calculate the % of fragrance oil, 10% is typical. I hope that makes sense haha, I am planning on making a full video explaining it. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Michelle, so sorry! I recently changed the description with a kit I recommend (Cosy Owl) and removed the Supplies For Candles link as the link no longer worked because the company have changed their product listing structure. I have added it back in. The cosy owl one is fantastic though and they have a lovely scent selection, I have a review of the kit coming up shortly.
