Yes, Nakime had an abusive husband who was a gambling addict. When he gambled away her only kimono she lost herself and killed him then when she performed her biwa later it was better then it had ever been before and captured the hearts of many. She realised that by killing someone before her performance made her play better so she continued to kill. One day her victim was Muzan, who was impressed at her tracking and movement made her an offer for her to become a demon and she accepted. There are probably some details I have missed but that is the overall story.

Her original backstory was her husband was spending all their money for gambling so she had to go to work in a kimono so she killed her husband and her fingers were trembling that made a great sound when playing biwa so she continued this method then she tried to kill muzan but failed and he was so impressed that he made her a demon
Her back story in the original AU is Nakime was an amazing biwa player and was known around all Japan. She once killed a male fan,harassing her. That night,her concert was an instant hit. She made a tradition of killing a man every time she would have a concert so long that it came up to over 100 men. Until she met Muzan,she tried to kill him but seeing as she wouldn’t stand a chance she gave up. Muzan saw what talent she had at killing people and decided to promote her as the "7th" uppermoon. He takes her around everywhere he goes. It was not until upper 4(or 5) died that she was promoted as an "actuall" uppermoon.
