My neighbor gave me 2 cane corsos, brother and sister, right now they are 4 months and about 55-60 lbs , he had a little of 14 pups and I did not know theses dogs grow so darn fast , his parents are huge and when I took them to the vet , he said theses will grow to about the same size , dad was 165ish lbs and mom was 110-120 , they have been great dogs so far but they eat alot ! With my other 2 dogs , a hound and a husky I'm going thru a 55lb bag of food every week and a half ! But it's worth it to have such loving dogs

I have done a lot of reading about this breed, they should not belong to just anyone, afraid that is what will happen, as with the pit.they are beautiful, but not for everyone, great guard dogs.
Had mine since 8 weeks old she's now 1 year 3 months Blue Brindle and same marking on chest as yours didn't get her docked or cropped tho. She is identicle to yours best dog iv ever owned she's crazy smart loving like a giant baby loves cuddles very protective specially when my kids are around /1/4/5/11 she weighs around 40kg she's been that weight since about 10month so pretty safe to say she isn't getting any bigger thank god haha
If the dog have ears and tails, there's a reason! People who cut his dog's ears, try to cut yours, then go to doctor for various amount of disease you'll have to internal part of your ear! And, for those thoooousands of you ""dogs owner"" remember that your dog's poop have to be picked up.
Gorgeous dog , IMO I’m not a fan of cutting out a dogs tail tbh I feel it’s worse then cutting it’s ears , I had a Italian mastiff with its tail and ears it was a monster 💯 I still debated in the ears never did it tho
I just got pup she only 8 weeks I cant make my mind up I think they look better with them cut but I dont want put her through any pain just so I think she looks better

Flappy ears are not natural at all. The only animal in the wild with flappy ears are elephants. Modern dog ears are a result of UNNATURAL BREEDING BY MAN.
@@myranaam8562 all dogs exist only because of man's intervention...find me a wolf with floppy ears. Floppy eared dogs get ear infections at far higher rates...which is a much more cruel thing to allow compared to cropping at an early age.
Aaron McCutcheon by your logic, dogs themselves aren’t natural and shouldn’t exist since it’s men’s intervention that created it. It’s not that hard to clean a dog’s ears to prevent infections .
Lucas prevents health problems, same with tail docking. It was done 100s of years ago by farmers who needed their dogs to not get injured and vets weren’t really invented yet.
@@kissit012 actually it's not even in this time and age, Corso are still used for work, just like other breeds who are commonly cropped/ docked, it's definitely still needed but still anyone's right to do it or not.
Allowing your dog to get ear-infections is animal cruelty. Also, these dogs are prone to breaking and/or lacerating their tails if left intact. Man bred into dogs a lot of traits that are less than optimal for their health. If you can fix some of these problems when the dog is young, you should do so.
@@aaronmccutcheon Did I step on your toes with my comment? Reading yours, it seems like you are aproving cropping ears and tails, but for all the wrong reasons. Working with dogs for over 30 years has learned me this: There is no medical reason to crop these parts when the dog is healthy. Cropping is an unnessasary action that is only done for human estethics, and nothing else. Dogs need their tales and ears to comunicate . It becomes hard to read for other dogs, and we all know what wrong communication can do, right?
If you've worked with dogs for 30 years you'd know dogs don't need floppy ears or a long tail for communication because that don't use only those. I think you need to learn body language a bit better.
I would put money down that he didn’t weigh 140 at 10 months. All my years working with dogs, the biggest lie people tell is how much their dogs weigh and that is no 140 pound dog. Sorry. I have doubts about the height too.
My experience tells me that ppl lie about their dogs age when they post stuff like this. Etc they put a picture of a 6 months old dog and say thay its 4 months old, just for ppl to be shocked. He might weight 140, but def not at this age

Dcenteio next videos going to be me weighing him and getting his height. Reality is It’s ok if your dogs small theirs nothing wrong with it that. Keep weighing your dog for years because after about two they don’t grow anymore so you can give up on him still growing.
Chris Chris I feed him simple Kirkland food from Costco with a can of red meat dinner everyday two times a day. Half the can the first meal and rest of it during his second meal.

Don't be a hypocrite, people crop for looks and working reasons, and people leave them for looks while having the risk of getting injured. Leave people alone for their decisions.
Most breeders do require or highly suggest, or get ear cropping done themselves at the vet, it's not bad, Corso are working breeds and often get injured even as pet dogs, it's why breeders encourage to crop and dock.
Looks better now and will be happier because he won't get ear infections...canines shouldn't have floppy ears. Man bred that trait into dogs because it looked cute. Canine ear canals are meant to have air flow...without it they get infections...whether you clean them or not.
God forbid a select few of us return these canines’ ears to what they are supposed to be ... We’re the reason dogs have floppy ears in the first place. Pointed ears are naturally how dogs’ ears are supposed to be ..
Better than people doing it in their backyard with no anesthesia with childrens scissors. This crop is actually very well done, props to the vet and owner for posting the ears correctly.
