Nick, there's no instant gratification. It takes a lot of time and practice and repetition. When you do something so much it becomes second nature, reflex, flow.

Hello Joe I’ve been watching your videos and trying to learn your technique. I want to ask where do you purchase your canes I already have a cane master with engraved USAF on it , I have some martial arts canes and Brazos canes , and shillelaghs What do you use brother. John 3:16
Rusty, that's a real compliment when someone tries to learn your techniques! I hope they serve you well in your cane self-defense. I swing an old cane made out of white ash wood. I used to get unfinished canes and finish them myself with stain, polyurethane, paint. There's a company in New York City that's been making canes for over a hundred years Harvey's canes.
