I like the Robaina Raven Cane, but wish it had a palm rest and a similar sharktooth cutting edge mid-portion like the Silent Knight has.

Thank you for commenting Daryl! Raven as is, cannot attach palm rest properly as it is hollow tubing. It continues to fly under the radar everywhere so unlikely it would have additional shaft work that could potentially call attention to itself. That said, ideas are in the works to expand the metal line. Thank you for following Daryl!

Joe, have you tried a Raven in the 32” size? If so, what was that experience like?

Hi James! aka "Top Cane 104" 😜 - Two different animals. Raven designed for power, reach, and for those who train, it is not the heaviest of Canes which allows for speed and a quick draw. Think bazooka. If you cut it down and remove reach, now we need something to create leverage for close quarters...like that ACB palm rest...which doesn't work on hollow tubing. Thank you Sir!

Wouldn't it be better to train with whatever you are ACTUALLY GOING TO USE-- on street?? I know with firearms- it's NO good to train with a lighter, easier to maneuver weapon... you want the closest thing to what you will aCTUALLY USE. I use the actual gun I'll carry-- no matter what.. wouldn't the cane be the same??

Thank you for commenting David! Training with what you're going to carry makes sense. The challenge wih the Cane comes when the novice doesn't have the tensile strength to handle what he intends to carry. Arthritic conditions, carpal tunnel issues are also factors. - Currently with 11 categories of Canes, the question is "What do you need it for most NOW? If just starting to train, weak tensile strength, a training Cane which is easier to maneuver may make most sense (i.e ACSD Player Cane)- If Self Defense is the goal, strong wrists, the ACSD Raven (top self defense Cane), or ACB (lighter, shorter) makes sense and are quite popular. If ease of use and handling combined with self defense features and looks are of interest, the new Hybrids ( Silent Knight XL, Crimson Spinner XL) are tough to beat. Your line of reasoning is on point Davis-Thank you and Keep Canin'!
