ariel rodriguez not even close. Look at the fighters that Floyd’s beat. Have they improved drastically after taking that L? No. They still stayed one dimensional. Canelo is something special he just saw competition, and took it to the next level. I bet his drive is to never lose ever again, and to have legendary status. Which he already has accomplished.

I agree with you on canelo being special but he became special after taking that L to Mayweather where he drastically changed his defense. I was really impressed by his defense and movements with Jacobs

@@alexmontero6283 I really hate bringing race into this, but a lot of black fans kept saying Canelo was ducking all of the black middleweights (Jacobs, Charlo, and Andrade) by fighting with an 'old' GGG. Canelo went on to fight the best of the three, at least at the time, and now all of a sudden Charlo and Andrade are better than Jacobs and Canelo is ducking them.

I respect Daniel Jacobs he’s a great father and his son never once cried he only supported him and even told him after the fight that he won in his sons eyes, I almost cried myself, I felt that.

This short documentary on the fight was epic. I remember the fight like it was yesterday. Jacobs was too stiff and nervous and that hurt him during the fight. Close fight with Canelo winning 115-113 as one of the judges had it. Jacobs is a great boxer and he went toe to toe against one of the greatest of all times.

@Horacio Cordova he wasn't ALLOWED, Clenbuterelo made him sign a contract saying he wouldn't be allowed to go higher than 170 if he did he would be fined. Canelo however didn't do that.

Yes, his father and uncle owned a one of those popsicle cars with the little bell thingy and canelo would take it outside after school and work selling ice cream, after he got i to boxing he dropped out of his public school and kept working in the afternoons and training in the morning, all 7 children were working as well.
