I just added the backstrap and it's perfect. I was wondering if you were going to add the custom color and it's really nice. The weight distribution is perfect. Thank you for helping me for a perfect firearm.
Yess! I Wanted the Xfive because of the added weight but I see no need for it now with this kit my SFX will be perfect now ! I Ordered my kit today can’t wait to setup.
Any thoughts on making a larger bear paw(big hand) size of your back straps? Maybe something that mimics the large size back strap, or even slightly bigger
@@DavidEButler The Mete requires its own special magwell. We're working on making one of our own, but for now we've rigged the Mete/Rival backstrap to accept the factory magwell.
Are there any concerns about dropping the mag with brass extensions on the ground? Brass is soft, so I assume it could get chewed up when dropped in the gravel.
Most uspsa or outdoor ranges are on soft ground, so it should be fine. If you do get ding, brass color is brass color inside too, so it wont look like paint chipping off of metal part.
Hi Robin. Am using your brass magwell and +4's on my fxs comp gun and love them! Is your brass backstrap based on the standard or oversized Canik B-strap?
I’m having a hard time taking the backstrap off I tried using a hammer etc but I don’t want to ruin the grip of the gun did you have any of those issues If I’m not mistaken bc I can’t find a video on it don’t I just use the pushrod to put the pin through
I ordered the red signature one this morning thinking it was brass. I would like to switch to the brass one and pay the difference if you have it in red.
No problem. Easiest way to do that is place a second order for the brass one and send the red one back for a refund. (That way the two packages will cross in the mail -- saves you a week or more, and the paperwork is cleaner!)
Good question! IDPA has traditionally disallowed brass grip panels -- but that may have changed now that there are weight limits. I know aluminum is okay, and would appreciate the audience weighing in on the legality of brass in IDPA.
They suck when I orderd from them no communication out of product website saying they had it. Only found out after I emailed about my order. Hopefully I get my stuff soon
