There's now a full size adapter plate for RMR on Canik METE. You don't have to mount a micro sized optic to your huge handgun and you don't have to buy a new red dot just because the METE comes pre-milled for a micro dot! Check out Patnik Solutions!
I have this gun and the same Olight. If you slide the light on its adjustment rail and put the lock bar in the second pic slot, then slide the light back to the trigger guard and lock it down, it works perfectly.
Glock Is only the gold standard because it was first manufactured in the 80s. If other guns were manufactured in the 80s like the Glock was it would be Glock who..it CZ and HK for me…but I do own the SFX and it’s amazing
I don’t disagree. I just say gold standard because of availability of parts, mags, and aftermarket accessories and such. Pretty much any polymer striker fired pistol these days has a good record of reliability.
Most police departments have a policy that their officers have to get a new pistol every so often. Maybe every 4 years or something like that. So the old guns get traded in and sold by another company to the public.
You dont need to pullback slide and glock has worst ergo worst trigger i mean there is nothing good other then its reliability and surprise surprise there is many brands has reliability as good as glock so glock is a old news imo.
What do you mean by "you don't need to pullback slide" ? Ergonomics are a subjective thing for each individual. Glock pistols fit my hand quite well. Yes, Glocks are known for reliability. But to say they have nothing else good going for them is asinine. Aftermarket support, magazine interchangeability, parts availability, just to name a few.... Also, grammar and punctuation go a long way.
@@MrMatikusprime I believe that used to be Farnsworth Firearms. That’s the very first place I ever shot a pistol. My dad grew up just a couple hundred yards down the street from that store.
I definitely wouldn't rule this one out. Especially if someone only plans to buy one pistol, maybe for home defense. But yes, I'm deep into the Glock universe myself. My main pistol will always be a Glock for many, many reasons.
I believe Canik pistols to be a fairly serviceable pistol on the market these days. I just couldn’t give up my Glocks or Sigs for one. There are a lot of choices nowadays and there are much worse pistols to buy than the Caniks.
@@mercow1242 I have pulled a trigger on the Canik. It’s a nice feeling trigger and reset. I am not knocking the pistol overall and do believe it to be a decent pistol. I’ve been carrying Glocks daily for 20 yrs. I would not trade any of my Glocks for a Canik.
