Caning a Canoe Seat 

This is a supplemental video to a course that I teach for canoe building. In this video I am demonstrating the steps to weave cane for a trapezoid shaped canoe seat frame. This 7 step caning pattern uses 6 layers of cane (2 vertical, 2 horizontal and 2 diagonal) and the 7th step is to add the binder cane around the edges of your weaving. **The 7th step is not demonstrated in this video but will be uploaded separately.**
Like I said, this material is a supplement for a full course that I offer clients.
