Here's a fun one to do off of Evisceration Plague, although according to Alex Webster, he said this may have been the 2nd toughest song of the album. Anyway, enjoy. May also do a lesson for this one.

Barrett wrote that tune. Such a good mix of noting and heaviness. Lyrics are sick. One of my favs.

‘Smash the bastards into the ground! And when their down, shatter their bones!’ Oddly enough, doesn’t feel like a completely hopeless track lyrically, unlike monolith.

He wrote quite a few good tunes, the more recent singles of the past 4 albums have been by him. Encased in Concrete, Kill or become, Code of the Slashers, Inhumane harvest, all songs he wrote. In his return, Barbaric Bludgeonings probably stands out as the odd (and probably overlooked) track and I was a bit surprised when I found out he wrote it.

@@Maniacsface No that was Relentless beating (off of the same album, Vile). Monolith was the closing track. I’ve got a cover of that on here.

What string gauge are you using???

I actually can’t fully remember than, I’ve changed them up quite a bit over time. I think in this vid, it was 13-62 D’addarios, but now I use 7 string 10-49/52 (depending) and a 68 or 70 for low string (depends how much lower I want to tune afterwards). Oh and the tuning is A# standard
