Here is our Sourdough Recipe:
Ingredients
*6 cups flour
*3 cups of warm water.
*1 cup sugar
*1 tablespoon salt
*1 cup sourdough starter
*** Blake's coworker's Grandmother gave us a 30+ year old Sourdough Starter - If stored in the refrigerator - feed once a week, if out of the refrigerator - feed everyday - 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of warm water
1) Mix all the ingredients and let sit overnight covered with towel so dough will rise
2) Preheat Dutch oven/pan at 425 degrees
3) Line Dutch oven/pan with parchment paper
4) Fold dough once and place in Dutch oven/pan (put flour on hands before folding to avoid dough sticking to hands)
5) Take a knife and make a cross across the top of your dough to allow dough to expand when baking
6) Bake for 25 minutes with the lid on
7) Bake for 25 minutes with the lid off
8) Enjoy!
