This is a timelapse of how to remove the UV- and IR-Filter to get a full spectrum DSLR. If you want to do it check this video out: • DSLR Astrophotography ... This is the one I followed and the explanations are very good!
If you leave the bigger glass on the sensor this camera will become astro modded camera. Next time remove the black frame with filters from the sensor and put the sensor back in. Works same and its less work.
Thank you! Whats the purpose of the bigger filter? UV Blocking? In Space you want to see IR. What, I didn’t know the frame could be removed that easily 😅
@@RemusLt HEY WOW, I just wa searching a tutorial for the Astro modification of a T3i. So happy that you just wrote a few hours ago... You are my first youtube follow in decades 😜😂👍
Hi. Great work. Looking while doing it, does not appears so difficult. I have a Canon EOS 1100D and want to modify it into IR and UV full spectrum camera. So is this the right tutorial for me?
Thanks! I used this tutorial ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-twKvwFHAT58.html and it was perfect. But apparently you can remove the black frame all in one piece which should make the Filter removal even easier and you have less risk damaging the sensor.
