Disassembling a Canon 5D with broken shutter and removing the broken shutter.
I am using the 5D parts catalog found here for reference: digitalrokkor.altervista.org/d...
I am using the Moody Tools JIS driver kit found here for disassembling the camera: www.amazon.com/dp/B004PGO1T6
And storing screws in a Yongcun 24-compartment bead organizer found here: www.amazon.com/dp/B01KGQDNOW
I write in the various screw sizes in the compartments (M1.7x2,3,4,etc.) and check screw sizes against a to-scale printout that I drew in Fusion 360.

Hi Kenny , thanks so much for the video. i managed to buy new shutter and replaced , but error, when i switch to B, fire the camera , the mirror is open but shutter is not open , and error on LCD. do you know why the shutter is not open .all the connection seems to be ok

Brother , Can you guide me where I buy 5D Mark 1 LCD SCREEN buy. Because Canon totally stop 5D Mark 1 accessaries and part stop selling and repairing but my camra still good working only it's screen yellowish. Pleas Guide me . Thank You Mumbai . India .

Nice tutorial but please fix your exposure metering to avoid those changing light conditions.

This has been fixed in newer tutorials since I moved to a T5i for video. I was originally using an Amazon Fire Phone which had no manual exposure mode for video.
