just a tripod and hand held. the onboard image stabilizer of the Canon 24-105 L lens was on as well, which helps remedy the subtle shake visible in non-IS lenses.

I'll get the 24-105, I will loose about 2 f-stops but I'll have more zooming in at 24. Just depends on you and how much you want to spend.

Honestly, for video, unless you have a really good focus puller, you probably don't want to be shooting below f4 in most situations.

@MattTrecartin Shutter should be at 1/30 if shooting progressive (24p). If shooting 60p, then it will need to be at 1/60th
