As much as your experience was wonderful, you did not stay the proper distance away as you were supposed too! I am surprised the people on the island let you get close to them as isn’t there a rule 10 feet or something like that? If you respect nature you would not get to close.
Pierre Trudeau did exactly what was needed for those circumstances in October 1970. The FLQ was a clear and present danger to law and order in Canada and if left unchecked, could have subverted the government.
I just posted some videos of a 2021 Travis Bean TB1000S i got last week. This is an incredible guitar. Was a dream guitar of mine and i still have to pinch myself as if im dreaming. I didnt know they had been making new ones and i like the new models better than the 70s models tbo. Ive really messed around with mine and different temperatures trying to find a tuning issue and i have not found any like some people describe and ive been playing for about 30 years, i know a thing or two and ive played stages in the cold outdoors before etc. So thats why i kinda been testing mine in different environments and this guitar requires 1 thing. If its cold, put it on the stand and let it warm up to room temp (20mins or so) or the colder temp (let it get use to its enviroment) and then your good to go. I love it and its an amazing guitar, i cant explain how nice these guitars are and how much control over the tone i feel like i have. If your losing your hearing, this guitar puts out highs that mask my hearing issues and i seem to hear this guitar much more clearly than my others. So thats another plus imho. Hot pickups my bridge is 13.10k and my Neck is 9.46 and in the middle im at 5.47K. Only thing left is to add a preamp at somepoint in the future. :-) Thanks for the video and def check mine out folks, i do a demo and a basic look at the guitar and i also condition the FB in one of the videos and discuss the guitar a little more. Theres a long wait for Travis Bean guitars, but to me its well worth the wait. Luckily i found one already built (new) that was too heavy for the original customer and i got it directly from the company for a very very nice price. Cant explain how much i like this guitar :-)
