Thanks for the vid. Do you know best way to connect a samsung phone as a monitor? Zeek did one a while back for RAW videoing but I only need for stills and standard video.

Thanks for the quick and precise video! I saw that in 4.2K I can only record at 23,97 fps, how can I get it to 25 or 30 but with 4K quality?

Hello, Im an entire beginner, when i install the ML it doesnt change anything so i decided to uninstall it again, but my camera now doesnt open its LCD and just keeps blinking yellow. Is there nything i can do with it?

Glad it was helpful! I'd recommend the Danne's build of crop mood because it's easier between the two to start shooting with if you've never used Magic Lantern.

my eos m 18-55mm kit lens with that magic lantern version installed stops recording and say buffer issue. i have sandisk extreme pro v30 200mb/s i dont get it :s

I would double check and make sure you have the sd overclock option enabled, that can help with write speeds and buffering. I would also try recording at a lower bit depth of 12bit or 10bit rather than 14bit. Hope that helps!

Hi, I copied the 2.02 firmware version onto my SD card then updated it on the camera, but once I drag the ML files across and try to update it, under 'Displays camera settings' no other options are there. Did I do something wrong?

Before transferring any files, format your SD card in your camera to ensure it's clean and properly formatted. If you haven't already done so, update your camera's official firmware to the latest version provided by the manufacturer. This ensures compatibility with Magic Lantern. Copy all the files from the Magic Lantern zip folder onto the root directory of your SD card. Ensure that you're not placing them inside any folders and that they're directly on the SD card. Insert the SD card into your camera and turn it on. Navigate to the firmware update menu and select the Magic Lantern file (typically named something like "firmware.fir"). Follow the instructions to enable the bootflag. Once the bootflag is enabled, turn off your camera, remove the SD card, and delete the Magic Lantern file from the card. Reinsert the card into your camera and turn it on again. Navigate to the firmware update menu, and this time, you should see additional options, including installing Magic Lantern. Select this option to proceed with the installation. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. Once installed, Magic Lantern should be accessible from your camera's menu system.

Is there any way to downgrade from Firmware 2.0.3 back to 2.0.2? I cannot get ML onto my EOS M because it’s on the 2.0.3 version :(

If you use Danne's version of Crop Mood that I suggest in this video, you should be good to shoot after a clean install. Hope that helps!

i followed all of the instructions and the camera has ML on it, however when I start to record it stops and says buffering issues. It also is very glitchy and hard to understand. i am using my canon is m with kit ens 18-55mm

I'm an entire beginner. I installed Dannes build. But uninstalled it again, because I don't know how to use it. The raw videos I shooted came out with lot of noise and I felt my mobile does better job than this. Can u enlighten me how to use ML?

Sorry to hear your raw videos didn't come out great. My biggest suggestion would be to make sure you have a lot of light to help expose the image properly. After that you can process the MLV files through MLV app to get them to look how you want. Will I be able to revert back to canon stock os after installing magic lantern?

Hi! Yes, you can revert back to the canon os after installing magic lantern. Since magic lantern installs from an SD card, if you use a different card that doesn't have magic lantern installed, you'll have all your regular functions and menus of the Canon OS. Hope this helps!
