Yes, indeed ! Canon made a street photography camera back in the days and now I am testing the 2nd iteration, the CANON M6 II . Couple of short walks in the city with, rain, sun, wind... all that beautiful spring weather.

Very nice camera this Canon M6. It seems to do a great job. You've managed to tell a beautiful story with the intro again, and the shots came out very good. I really really like shot 5. You are doing a tremendous job with every camera that you use👏👏🔥

You can get the Canon M6 for half the price, for the same resolution - I think the same sensor. And it has a dedicated hardware EV dial on the top - great for switching to flash mode.

Thanks for the info! I finally sold my M6II as I had way too many cameras. I am sad that Canon discontinued this line though. I would really want to see a retro style camera from Canon dedicated to street photographers !

Thank you, inspiring video. When it gets warmer I'm thinking about using my M6ii for street photography too. Also would like to try food photography (need to buy 28mm macro). Were you wearing the GoPro?

I have this with the 22 and a sigma 56 1.4 for street. Great camera let down slightly by the shutters. Mechanical too noisy and electronic no burst option (and rolling shutter of course).

Couldn’t agree more with you Tim regarding the shutter. I was surprised at the sound of the mechanical one and the absence of burst option in electronic. I have should mentioned that in the video at the end :). Thanks for the feedback!

Canon did a huge mistake. They produced this AMAZING camera at too low price. Anyone that uses it will not get back to full body. I have two of them and already did around 200k shots. Results are equal or better than full frame because it is much easier to work with. All controls only on the right hand. 32 mm and 22 mm super sharp so with 32 mp you can crop crazy especially street shots. You can work candidly and then enlarge a lot. For wild life it has double the pixel density compared to R5!!!

Canon did a huge mistake by discontinuing the M series :( I gave the M6II a go these days and it is a brilliant and very capable camera, way ahead of it's time in terms of spec. The shutter sound is a bit too loud (for street and I guess for wildlife as well) but I fully agree with you, this is an AMAZING camera ! Cheers !

I much prefer this to the eosr crop alternatives, just a much nicer looking and feeling unit. Paired with the sigma f1.4 trio of lenses it's absolutely a full frame killer

Getting back in stride with the warmer weather, Octavian. Canon ad segment a bit long, IMO, for a 9 min post. Cool “rainbow” in opener. What were they doing in pics 9 and 10? 5 and 6 light traps and 14 multiples my fav. Might make a good post if you showed/compared your favorite images taken with different cameras. Perhaps challenge viewers to tell which images were made on what cameras. On this channel I recall you used Leica, Fuji, and now Canon. Was there a Sony or Nikon, as well? My guess is that you purposely omitted your classic snack scene in this post.😊 Cheers!

I have this camera and lens. However, it seems just a little too wide unles you are willing to get rather close to your subject to capture and candid and close-up images.

It's a great little camera. However I find the mechanical shutter way too loud. I prefer getting close to people on the street :)

Yes I can ! Apperture priority, trying to shoot at f 8 - f 11. iso 800, shutter speed 1/250 minimum. AF, center point. Hope it helps :)

I think the image quality of Fuji XE4 would be better than M6II, maybe it is the quality of the lens But I must admit that the EF-M series has very nice design which let you travel light.

Hahhaa you can add a viewfinder on the hotshoe but I didn’t have it with me when I did the picture for the thumbnail. I guess bro needs to try harder for that coolness 📸
