this was one of my automatic cameras I bought. Great camera. But I now own a manual camera with loads of lens. I have both just for the collection. Great for photography
Hello, I want to buy this camera, can you answer a few questions? 1. Can I connect the bank to the camera via USB ? 2. What kind of red video camera supports 1080 \ 120, 2k \ 60, 4k \ 30 ? 3.can I use the camera in winter at -10? Thank you, I look forward to hearing :)
My SX70 has just arrived. Expected to see the macro icon when pressing left arrow but only Normal and MF shows. Do I have a problem or is there something I've missed? Update: restored to factory settings, is ok now.
Digital cameras do take time to focus and they need to know what they are supposed to be focussed on - which depends on settings, shutter speed and aperture. When you have control of all of these you and your camera will work together to achieve the required focus
Thank you for this video but im having difficulty with the automatic shut off im trying to film a you tube video but the camera keeps cutting off what should I do.
Please can some one answer this question, i google 20 times about that but couldn't get any solution. I would like to know if this Camera can take a picture while recording a video.
Hi, thanks for this walkthrough. Is 300 frames on the time lapse maximum? If so, it's a deal breaker. 😢 I'd like to connect a power supply, have unlimited shots and being able to set the frame interval from 1sec to 24 hours. is this possible?
is it me or are her eyes pointed slightly different ways, i had surgery for this when i was less than 1 years old, now i notice it right away in others that havnt got the surgery. all video it was distracting, but the video itself was helpful because i got the x70 comin in the mail.
Also had a sx60 and currently using a sx50 where i could immediately realise the difference in the upgraded version and concluded the sx60 hit a sweet spot. On the brink of ordering the sx70. I got a lot of mixed reviews where some people struggle to adapt from the sx60 and that the battery is different from sx60 and doesnt last as long. Other say its fine though. I cant see that it should be problem coming from a older superzoom. I do see that they removed the hot shoe. I never got to use it but would like to have the option i guess. I think i might just bite the bullet and go for it.
I just bought one. After 3 days, the camera is kind of ok, but nothing special except for the zoom. Under exposes and big delay between the button and the click. Worst of all is to get the product registration non usa or canada. No way to find how
I cannot get the level indicator on the display when I press info. I can see you press 4 times. On the 4th time it goes back to start for me. What to do?
I bought this camera today and having problems connecting it to my PC via a DHCP enabled WiFi router, tried all the methods described in the manual but had to resort to a USB lead in the end. The PC connects to the router via Ethernet and currently has no wireless NIC.
Hello how are you! I have a Canon Sx70 and I have a question. The viewfinder has a sensor that just putting your hand in front already makes the camera display go off. Is there any way I can disable the display to use only the LCD Display?
I just bought the camera and I do not know how to modify the ISO parameter without entering the Menu. Is there any direct button or way to modify while you are focusing or just shooting? Thanks
@@E3EJvilla00 You have to Go Online on the Canon Website to Look at the Full Manuals, I have to do that when I'm Looking at Info for my SX-50 & Powershot SX-150 Pocket Camera, the Manuals that come with the Cameras Today are Partial Information, you have to Go on Line to Canon & Look Or Download the Full Manual for the Camera you have.
just been to the kalahari and took many shots of wildlife and trees panoramic views but all in auto mode ;did not have the time to read through the webside info ; camera just bought and brand new ; but a lot of pics came out out of focus ; at night could not get to the water holes at the hides meaning could focus somehow but then the camera would not shoot ; the video is a good start for learning ..... need to try a lot more; it is going to be trial and error ; could anyone explain the difference in AV , TV , and when to use it ?
I bought this sx70 so I'd have a lighter weight camera for when doing a lot of walking on some of our trips. All my shots are coming out blurry no matter what settings I use I have a Canon 7d mark III also, so I know all about settings and my pictures come our clear and sharp with it. This camera is either defective or just plain awful.
Yes absolutely, technically this camera don't have all the features as we expected, I thought this sx 70 would be a good camera and went along and buy one, after studying it carefully and i took many shots from many settings but this camera has a very poor image quality, i have sx50 which is by far the most quality shot it can give . I am still using my sx50 and not the sx70 with its poor image quality, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Unlike the Nikon b700 which I like but now deleted, I learned it is a good beginner camera. This Canon one has a lot going on but no mention of having an auto option meaning I could use it straight away and hopefully learn the other options. Is this camera too complicated for a beginner? Also are the photos in ow light good? Thank you
Pls someone can help me? How I can do a portrait? When I search about photography recommended shot in 50/80 mm with low aperture but this camera didn't down of f/5 :(
Just bought one of these and I notice on the tutorial we are shown an electronic level (virtual horizon) to keep images straight when shooting. When I press my info button and go through I do not get this but I do see the histogram. Has there been an update and this is no longer a feature. I also see there is a firmware update should I do this?
