I have the iShoot lens collar for my Sigma 135mm f/1.8, and it takes a lot of stress off the body's flange. You need to drop the head to 90° for portrait shooting as it doesn't rotate. But other than that a must-have for this lens. Make sure you tighten it well to the lens!

Thanks for the video, it was very nicely done, the pictures look great. I like to shoot indoor sports. I wonder how well the autofocus performs in that kind of situation, do you have any thoughts on that?

The autofocus as mentioned is a little bit jumpy at times, but this could be that the right settings are not applied. I'm still trying to figure out and configure this camera for my own ease of use! :) But when it works it works really well and locks on tight! Thank you :)

The issue with a "jumpy autofocus" on the R6 may have something to do with the lens being adapted to a mirrorless body. I had this experience with an older Tamron lens when I was taking photos with it on my R6. Then I noticed a massive improvement when I attached a native RF 24-105mm F4 to that body. So it may not be so different from your experience on the Sony a7IV after all when a proper lens is used. It's unfortunate that to this day we still haven't seen support from the third party lens manufacturers due to Canon's politics, which ultimately influences people to think that the RF system autofocus is not as good as it is with Sony new cameras, because unlike with the E mount we often have to use adapted old DSLR EF lenses. Shame on you Canon 🤬

Could it be a lens and camera communication error? Maybe that’s why the lens is jumpy at times. Let me know any updates please!
