This is my review of the Canon RF 100-400mm lens used on a Canon R7. The videos and photos in this review were taken at the 2022 Aerospace Valley Air Show at Edwards Airforce Base.

I am pretty curious how this set performs in cloudy day. Since not all airshow are Sunny day. When I use r7+rfs18-150, I found sometimes it's a little big challenge to focus if background is gray cloud

Nice review. I have the same setup. I think your shutter speed was a little too fast on the prop planes. The propellers don't have much of an arc.

I saw your old video of first 3 months of astrophotography (great video) but can you see Jupiter and its moon through it and Saturn?

Im sorry to say that, but merely a half of photos looks very sharp. Still for that price it's a good performance, especially in so light package

Well, about any lens would perform great in a bright day light if you know what you doing. I wouldn't spend $500 on lens that I need to raleigh any time of the day. I rather save and purchase better lens or wait when 3rd party start making better lenses.
