Canon needs to focus on things like open gate , a 48fps mode without using S&F, being able to putting clog 2 in all cinema cameras, there R5 autofocus in all cinema cameras we already see the image quality like we need more from them and im tired of them not listening they have the potential to be up there with the ARRI'S and SONYS when it comes to feature film
@@JamesJacksonFilmz I like it, Has some pretty good video features as well. AF is the Achiles heal if you are used to Canon's or Sony's AF for photo is amazing. Love the colors. This is a camera for Leica Shooters that own Leica Glass in my opinion, Coming from Sony does feel late to the party but it has some tricks up its sleeve like Shutter angle, Waveform that Sony Hybrid cameras still don't have. Since I'm now mainly doing Street and travel photography, I go for smaller bodies and lighter lenses. I'm still digesting it.

It definitely does not do up to 21 stops of DR. I can assure you that. Testing has been done and the Alexa 35 (cropped sensor) still is on top with 17. But the v-raptor x comes close.
If Canon can keep the price reasonable (within line of the price of the R5 when it launched), remove the need for a stupid external battery to shoot 8K60 with autofocus, improve the battery life, and add built-in wifi for remote live view recording, than I might be sold. I sold my R5c for all of the reasons that I just listed, and have almost zero faith in Canon actually listening to consumer's needs, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Not holding my breath though!
@@JamesJacksonFilmz My EIZO monitor is calibrated with both the EIZO built-in calibrator and my i1DisplayPro meter. The brightness is calibrated to the standard of 100 cd/m2. So definitely not an issue on my side. Your monitor needs to be calibrated.
