Honestly the underlying problem seems to be canvases that think they’re coming to get a tattoo like this is a regular tattoo shop. No this is a high intensity tattooing competition with challenges that demand a tattoo to match your non challenge related ideas are obsolete, sorry guys but get better compliment canvases
it’s actually so dumb. to say that it teaches adaptability and they should learn to tattoo any client? no, in a real tattoo shop artists can deny any client they want. it’s such a dumb rule that makes no sense in the real world. if you’re being picky and disrespectful, no tattoo.
The challenge can be to find some one new off the street for a quick tat or they could have a back up group or something for cases like this. That girl seemed VERY annoying

I will never understand why that first girl didnt just,, bring a photo of her bike?? If you wanted it to be that specific and exactly the same why wouldnt you bring a photo so she could emulate it as accurately as possible??
That's a really good point. For each of my tattoos I've always made sure I gave the artist the exact photo of what I want. If you want specifics then you make sure you get it.
Also the artist always shows the canvas the picture before they start tattooing to see if the canvas likes it, did this woman just not pay attention? If so, I cant feel sympathy for her. Pay a little attention to something that's going to be on your body forever.

Having no idea isn't a bad thing but you can't be picky. If I went on here I'd 100% let the artist have free reign because if it's a style they aren't strong on then putting restrictions will more likely make a bad tattoo because they're trying to meet the challenge plus the canvas's wants and sometimes that just burries them. If it was a style they were super strong on like cleen rock one with hot rods and choppers then I'd make requests because it's something he can rock day in and day out but a style he isn't very good at to begin with I'd just be 'do whatever you want as long as by the end of the challenge it looks good'
@@niss519 and most of the pissed off ones are overly picky - they want a tat that doesn't even meet the criteria of the challenge... or wanting too much for the timeframe.

Right? Honestly, a lot of the artists were totally wronged because of the canvases. I doubt any of the judges would put up with very disrespectful clients the same.
That chick with the Chopper, "no I want my bike." Then why the fuck didn't you bring a picture of your bike. No 2 Choppers are the same. And I love that bullshit line from the Judges, "you gotta work with tuff clients." Like they don't kick people outta their shop everyday for being difficult.
To be fair, she took an attitude right from the start that she didn’t know what she was doing and didn’t seem to want to make an effort to learn. I definitely agree that the canvas should have had a more solid reference if she wanted her specific bike, but I think the artist’s attitude contributed to what happened.
Honestly, that was the most intelligent move. He knew saying anything else was just going to start a fight that would only be worse for him. That was a classy move against a bitch with no class.

He did an ugly tattoo. it isn't absolutely amazing in the slightest. Putting aside whatever assumptions y'all are making about the canvas, it's a BAD tattoo. The judges (aka experts in their field) agreed with her that it's ugly and poorly done.
she was definitely a case. and was definitely putting on a show. but that tattoo was in no way "absolutely amazing" lol. the water he added (yes she didn't want it in the first place which is stupid lol) looked weird and altogether, it looked like a collage rather than a fluid tattoo.

I hate how they just tell them to work with difficult clients like it’s so easy. With people like that koi fish and heart lady, you can’t work with them.
But to be fair a few times the artist tries their best and the canvas leaves and the judges see that and send them a new canvas. And every single time I've seen them get a new canvas the new canvas is like "tattoo anything anywhere let's do this shit." So the judges are fair normally. And I think it's just, how do you handle different challenges? Sometimes you just get dealt a shit hand in the tattoo studio and have to try your best. He was just being biased because he used his gf as the reference. I bet if they broke up he would agree that the tattoo was bad and he just wouldn’t admit it cause it’s his gf
The reason why I stopped watching the show was because of the canvases honestly. The people selected for the show shouldn't expect a 2000 dollar tattoo in 6 hours for free.
I assume they select people who are likely to be good for material for tv drama. Although people who sing up to get something permanent because it’s free might not be the most level headed group to start with.

These people are going the show knowing that sabotage is the name of the game since season 2 when the flash challenge winner became the one to decide the canvas-artist match up. The smart thing for a canvas to do is to ask for a hard tattoo. That way they usually get the best artist that people are gunning to take down. I think the producers probably tell them to act out for more views. It is t.v after all. But it also does not excuse the fact that people need to have manners
This is like when a college friend of mine was in a legit CANOE PADDLING class and on the first day one girl in his class saw the canoes floating in the Olympic sized pool (our college was nowhere near an actual body of water, so the pool was all that would suffice) and she said “Ohhh, we have to get on the water?” Like how else did you expect to paddle the canoe?🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I'm surprised so many people have this opinion about literal art. I do feel that the girl has a right to whatever tattoo idea that she wants, but idk how this show normally works. If the artists normally have way more liberty on this show than a regular tattoo artist then I understand, but idk why her tattoo has to have every single element _exactly_ like the Japanese style. What's the point in doing an exact replica of the same koi fish? Why not be more creative?
@@2GoatsInATrenchCoat I agree. I think her idea is cool and hate that people are calling her stupid for it. Now, she is stupid for going on a show like this where tattoos are supposed to follow guidelines. She screwed him. If she's that picky she needs to sit down with artists beforehand so they have time to really work something out.
people actually defending Kito...... dude made a terrible tattoo, with terrible ideas, bad placement, the water was awful. And then how he talked about her and thought of himself. Just awful attitude and execution.
