Capacity Development Talk: Governance Diagnostics for Performance and Accountability 

This 30-minute talk will present the role of Governance Diagnostics in promoting macro-critical reforms to address corruption and financial integrity weaknesses. The presentation will showcase recent work carried out in Mauritania and will include a discussion of the broader IMF capacity development work on core aspects of integrity and anti-money laundering. The session will include the perspective of government officials on how the diagnostic exercise assisted them in shaping the country’s governance and financial integrity reform program, and the on-going efforts to implement prioritized reforms.
