Canonically, I'm not sure Billy wants to ever team up with Iori again. Billy developed extreme hatred to Iori ever since the latter's debut, because he brutally beat him up for not winning the tournament. Look at Team Rival's ending in KOF 95. That one has been a characterization of Billy, and Eiji too in general.

Doing exercises like this really reveals how many beloved characters these companies have. There are so many characters here and even still I find myself going "WHERE'S THE ONE I WANT???" Something I've come to realize is that, from all the teams, Women Fighters and Taiyo Academy can actually have a secret ending on their own. In Women Fighters, if you abuse Hibiki's sword attacks over King and Athena, her personality changes to straight up psychopath like in Samurai Shodown or lowkey in The Last Blade 2, and on the final boss, she must face her own team instead in order to get the evil ending. In Taiyo Academy, if you lose to the midboss, you keep playing anyway with another order of the next opponents, but Hyo will come out sooner, and whether you beat him or not, you will get the bad ending.

13:26 I wholeheartedly disagree. I think there’s a perfect way asura could fit into capcom vs sink 3. The capcom secret boss. If you remember in asura’s wrath after the mortal girl died and he went berserk destroying olga’s armada, he just kind of wondered around aimlessly letting his wrath take him wherever until he ran into yasha. More specifically he landed in front of yasha and killed the guy he was about to fight and then fought him. Just like the boss fights in this game. We should have him be wondering around being led by his wrath and then stumble upon the tournament and take out the final boss, since his berserker form stil only seemed to hurt villains maybe he could sense the evil coming from the arena. I think playing through this game just to see berserker asura jump out and obliterate hyo and then have to fight him would be incredible. He even fits the criteria that f filling the screen with crazy bullshit in the boss fight. He’d be a great secret/unlockable boss

My only issue with your roster is that it feels wrong to not have a Team Interpol, with Guile Cammy and Nash (or C. Viper to spice it up). And I kinda think Team Ikari Warriors should be there. Great video tho and I love how diverse this roster is, a lot of different options!

Oh my god I was the opposite. I was an SNK FAN and for years I had to hear "If this was Street Fighter I would have won." With CvS and CvS2 it was "Put up or shut up!" CvS2 is the Greatest 2D Fighter ever.

Although this roster is sorely lacking in charge characters, namely Guile and Leona, it's overall very strong. My team would definitely have Makoto and Rock on it. There's too many good picks for me to definitely choose a third, but I'd have to consider Ruby Heart, G, Menat, Blue Mary, Vanessa, Alex, Dudley, Kim, Kyosuke, Darli, Felicia, Talbain, and King. Maybe Fio too depending on how they'd handle her. As much as I love Dante, after his Marvel appearance made him feel as close to playing a DMC game as possible, he'd feel too neutered here in comparison for me.

This was awesome! If this game were to come true, I would accept this roster. A cool team idea I'd like to see, however, would be Evil Ryu, Violent Ken and Shin Akuma. Call them Team Dark Hadoh or something.

The team format and sticking to mostly fighting games is a great idea for CvS. I used to consider that aspect limiting but it makes a lot of sense and it would be more fitting to branch out to other things through a SVC chaos based roster instead

There could be one from SFV with V-skills, V-triggers, v-shift and v-reversal; - One with max mode from kof XIV where the CD attack gives you a wall bounce to continue the combos; - A new SamSho Groove where you gain access to Rage explosion and Lightning blade, stance break, etc; - A Rival Schools-y groove with Tardy counter, air combos, a dodge that get you behind the enemy, opening them up for a grab or a quick combo; - A SFIV based groove, with focus attack, fadc, ex moves, a super and an ultra bar. One special edit team I'd like to see is actually three characters from the same franchise. Ryu, Ken, and Dan, Gouken's three proteges, making up Team Shotokan. There are so many directions you could take their interactions, from silly to heartwarming, and I love it.

I like the idea of doing canon teams. I do think an SNK Military Team should be the sort of rivals to the Final Fight Team, Beat-em ups vs Shoot-em ups. Ralph, Leona, & Marco. Definitely think Geese should have had his own team as well. One thing you're forgetting is that some of these KoF teams don't have a reason to be a team until they made one, so as long as you can make a reason for them to be on a team together, than it doesn't matter if they hate or want to kill each other. A few team ideas. Though some of these are just ones I had fot KoF teams. I honestly love this line up, but by far my biggest complaint here is that Leona missing feels like such a massive glaring omission. She particularly could've gone into Agents or Orochi over one of the picks, given how notable she is in KoF and how popular she is.

Here's a special edit team that popped into my head: Rock, Terry and Ken Rock, his adoptive father Terry, and Capcom's closest Terry equivalent - also with a child - Ken.

Also!!! SFV and KOF XV are both made on the Unreal Engine 4 in similar art style and mechanics! If they chose to do a CvS3, they only to drag and drop the characters!

Haha thank you so much for including a Power Stone Character! There a few teams I don't agree with but this roster is good overall. The final DLC on the capcom side could've went like this. Dante (DMC), Gene (God Hand), and Nilin (Remember Me) I feel this team would be a more of a mold for cvs3 but why not, dmc team it is.

I've never played Capcom vs SNK (plus I know would suck at it) but I always love watching gameplay videos. It looks so fun. The SNK characters looks cool.

I learned about Ryu and Ken from smash ultimate, trying to learn how to play them I downloaded SFII and loved it, little bit later and I got addicted to 3rd strike, then Terry became a smash dlc and I found out from Maximilian Dood that he is also a fighting game character... Never played smash since then just KoF XIII and SFIII 3rd Strike XD
