Additional ideas: 1. Make Lil Mac and "Katie" know/be related to each other in some way. 2. Have Mario be the default referee for the Nintendo circuit, and throw in luigi as an opponent. Then he could cheat via Mario sometimes automatically siding with him if the fight went the full 3 rounds. (Similar to how Don Flamenco complemented the refs hairstyle in the first game.)

Funny thing is if the anime keeps going and goes to adapting this era I would love to see an Aria of Sorrows and Dawn of Sorrows adaptation in seasons. It would with the character developments and the interactions. And they could have a blast with all of Soma's abilities he can get in game.

I mostly agreed with these. Though, I feel kike you missed an opportunity matching Zangief with Kuma. Since its stated that Gief trains by fighting bears.
Sony Interactive Entertainment should look into contracting Masahiro Sakurai now that he has gone indie to revive / reinvent PlayStation All-Stars or create their own Smash Bros
I didn’t try the sf3 series until 3rd when Chun li was introduced but still prefer alpha 3 and the vs games. I don’t think my skill level is high enough to enjoy it and most of the cast don’t speak to me.
Alpha 3 is my fav of all time I was in the arcades playing it all the time. And played the ps1 to death. Pretty sure Bison’s Uber psycho crusher was not air lockable on any ism as I’d always play Aism. I’d not jump until he’s used it. I loved EX 1+2 as well. Area was such an interesting character.
I just want to say that not everyone in Japan draws anime. They make art, but not necessarily anime style. Anime style refers to actual Japanese animation, while manga is more the actual phrase needed to be used when talking about what they are known for. You have realism and stylized with everything inbetween. That art style doesn't look "anime" to me, it's just the style that artist came up with and will have cultural influence from manga in it. You'll notice a lot of times for artists, not mangaka, they don't refer to what they do in any terms when it's something unique compared to what one generally sees in illustrations. If you look on Pixiv you will rarely ever see the word anime used unless by Western artists, but you will see manga with it's own section.
My favorite character is the original Susano’o. Love his design, but I’m more in love with the visual idea of this giant, monstrous suit of sentient armor telling a group of quantum physicists how to do their jobs.
I love the roster dude but there was one team missing and from the capcom side and yes it suppose represents most fighting game characters like as someone who never played Rival School and only see batsu in Project X Zone one it's nice to see that franchise get some love. But the team I'm talking about for Capcom is... Team Maverick Hunter i mean c'mon The MegaMan X Series is easily the fan favorite series having them in here would be awesome hell zero was in SVC chaos making his First playable appearance how could you not include him in there and For their gameplay they would play like in Marvel vs Capcom but for Axl his moveset would be a few punches and kicks but he would use guns and his copy abilities transformed into one of the bosses from megaman X command mission. And their interactions with others characters would be amazing like Project X zone level of interactions

I was listening to the idea for multiplayer and had an idea, Imagine this: You beat the base story mode, credits roll, and at the end you get a bunch of unlocks, But one of them stands out:??? You select it, And it brings you to a menu with a bunch of squares with the shadowed out pictures of the various fighters, and two tabs, One with a padlock, the other having the gender symbol of the character you beat story with. (Male for Mac, Female for Katie.) Only the first fighter isn't shadowed out. (We'll consider you beat story with Mac.) Glass Joe. You pick the option and a cutscene plays. Joe's sitting on a bench in an empty gym, Absolutely miserable. He's walking towards the exit, About to throw his boxing gloves in the bin. Then he looks over to a poster of Little Mac, Remembering how he was Mac's first fight... If Mac could become champion... He fastens his gloves, Walks up to a punching bag and gives it an almighty punch!... That barely moves it... In spite of that, Joe. Is. Determined. The opponent select screen let's you pick the second boxer of the game. You start it up and you see the VS screen. And on the left? *Is Glass Joe.* Yep, This new mode allows you to play a new round of the story with the opponent boxers. You cannot tell me that wouldn't be hype as hell.
the video game history foundation's podcast has an episode where they interview the english translator for the pokemon games, nob ogasawara, and an interesting tidbit he mentions is that when he was working as a correspondent for english game magazines, capcom in particular had this bizarrely antagonistic attitude towards game journalists around the time of SF2. i can see how having a success like that can go to your head, but hearing about the incompetent production choices of 3 makes me think maybe the heads at capcom just had an unbelievable amount of hubris at the time
Obviously, you can’t include _everything,_ but I’m kind of surprised that games like Doki Doki Literature Club! Touhou, and Henry Stickmin weren’t even mentioned! Like, the classroom from DDLC could be an interesting stage, with Monika messing with the code and glitching the screen, kind of like how Missingno. worked in Super Smash Flash 2 (when it was still in the game) or the Devil in Smash. Henry Stickmin has a TON of moveset potential, with all the gadgets and items he uses (with the Teleporter obviously having to be his recovery), and just IMAGINE all the songs that could be on a Touhou stage, where either the stage or an Assist Trophy could release blasts, making you have to strategically avoid them like in the actual games (not to mention the fact that the Touhou series has quite a few fighting games already)!
Id be fine with king cobra if they changed his outfit, like Sean is the black counterpart to ryu/ken and has the Gi pleaseee use him my guy got hoed in 5 and is mia in 6
